Had reservation when we got there they could not find the reservation I had my 83 year old mom with me and needed first floor which they could not accommodate It was obviously transient housing and even the office had a horrible odor We did not stay I cancelled the reservation and found much cleaner safer and cheaper lodging right down the road. not recommended at all

It was close to Walmart and super market. Room was OK staff well I have my own personal opinion was very friendly the hot tub wasn't very clean had mold but I guess for the price you get what you pay for.

Was easy to find and had everything we needed, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.

Great location and staff but, room was super hot and the air didn't work very well. We booked the room solely because of the hot tub and it was broken and out of service. Overall it was an ok stay for the money!

I found the deal the same day I was around in @rbitz, was one of the cheapest prices it gave me. Decent place, have kitchen, everything seems to work, the wi-fi disconects a lot, have ironing table and iron, hair blower, sink, microwave, medium to large size fridge, cabinets. Close to town. Pool. Seems clean and painted. I pay around $56 with taxes for 3 persons for a night, so I think it was a good deal. For the price you can not ask for much more.

Would highly NOT recommend this hotel! Sketchy is an understatement.

this is a super hotel! loved the room, the staff was wonderful! very kind and helpful in every way. loved the pool and hot tub. very well maintained and very clean and the room was so nice! very clean and very comfortable! this is a great place to stay! will definitely be back!

I have enjoyed my stay at this wonderful hotel. the room was perfect! very clean, comfortable beds. microwave and refrigerator in room. loved the staff! very kind caring, and helpful! loved the swim pool and Jacuzzi! this is a great , very well maintained , clean hotel and am looking forward to staying here again soon. will recommend it to my friends.

Hotel was very decent for the money spent location was superb right next to all the local businesses. Hotel was in with minutes of the beach and the staff was very accommodating

Its was average hotel it actually was pretty clean to my surprise on the pool was clean and the location was well because of the grocery stores and shopping general shopping and the spa was clean is just never got completely heated up. The staff was ok . I'm probably never going to stay there again I only stayed because of the weekend of July it wasnt very many hotels not bad for the price was an outstanding either.

If you're looking for a motel, this is a good place to stay in Clearwater!

When we checked in told them we had 1 more person then our reservation said, and they said its ok don't worry about it. but when we tried to get more towels, wouldn't give them and everyday he would say you have 4 people in the and only payed for 3. we went and paid the extra $5.00 per day but didn't change anything. Had cops there all the time about hookers. Just a all around bad place, don't waste your money.

i enjoyed my stay at gulfway inn so much! everything was perfect! the staff was wonderful and very helpful. loved the heated swim pool and Jacuzzi, the room was perfect, very clean, comfortable, and cozy. wish i could have stayed at gulfway inn all week! everything was perfect! i highly recommend it!

All "name brand" hotels in the Clearwater Beach area were a minimum of $120/night. I found this little doozie that although does not look overly attractive from the outside, is just as comparable to any 1 or 2 star hotel on the inside. Clean and spacious room, Vic, the owner, was very nice and upgraded me to a kitchenette for free. Has free internet and ice machines unlike most "dive" motels. Overall considering I literally paid half of what other places in the area were asking, I was left impressed and will definitively be staying here again next time I go down that way, very convenient to the beach as well.

stay was good except there was a problem with getting enough towels in the room. maid service did not replace the same number of towels each day and we had to ask for more towels each day.

The room was clean, although the carpets need serious cleaning. After showering if you did not put on shoes your feet would turn black. I had a small child with me and when he was playing on the floor with his cars/trains and he got up his knees, shins and hands were black. Yuk!!! The bedding left a lot to be desired... Bed cover had burn holes in them and one of the bed sheets also had a couple of burn holes. Glad I carried my own. The kitchenette well had 2 cups so if you are three or more you had to wait turn. The room was for a max of four so there should have been at least 4 coffee cups, 4 dinner plates, 4 bowls and 4 drinking glasses. The stove is not wired correctly so if all the burners are not plugged the stove will not work and once connected need to see if the control for the burner is the correct... In my case the right back burn actually turned on the the front right burner... Very dangerous. Otherwise the trip was fine although I did return home a day earlier.

My experience at this hotel is great - attentive staff, clean room.  I am writing this in 2010 after 5 consecutive years of staying at this hotel, which is, I guess, some sort of testimonial in itself!  It is an ideal location for Spring Training games, which is what brings me down here every March.

We were really only in the hotel room for sleeping; for the rest of our time there we were at the beach and Busch Gardens. First impressions weren't that great; the hotel room door was screwed up and one of the three locks did not work; eventually something that had me spending 10 minutes just to get OUT of the room. One night coming back around midnight, I'm 75% sure there was a drug deal going on in the parking lot. It seemed clean, but even though it was a non smoking room, there were burns everywhere. Old decor and furniture gave it a divey feeling. One plus was that it had a large refrigerator; not full size, but not a tiny dorm room fridge either. Overall I thought I'd rather be staying at the Ramada less than 1 block away which I had stayed at before.
