Sandals Grande St. Lucian was a delightful experience. We would recommend it to anyone. The hotel was premier and the staff was incredible.

In comparison to other all-inclusives we have stayed at, Sandals seemed to be a little pricey for the value. Some of the food (and drinks) were just ok, and some were great. They did not have enough lounge chairs by all of the pools which was frustrating. I can only imagine how annoying that would be during busy season. We upgraded to a club level suite with a swim-up pool. This was not worth the extra $1000+. The room was small, at the very back of the property furthest away from everything, and stocked with the cheapest liquor. It had a very small room service menu with limited options and was not 24 hours. The club lounge really had no advantages either aside from consierge service. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and seemed happy to assist, and the grounds grounds were beautifully kept and clean.

Resort is clean, the staff is friendly, the island is BEAUTIFUL!

Beautiful scenery, great food. Room was ok--a bit small compared to other sandals locations. Enjoyed our time there!

The hotel had a lot to offer and lots to keep you busy. This was a great place for people that want to get there and have everything ready for you once you get there.

The staff was extremely friendly and could not do enough for everyone. The resterants were outstanding and excellent service. There was constant activity so if you wanted to get involved you could, if not you could just relax and enjoy. I have stayed at Beaches prior to this and for couples Sandals is the best.

This was our first all-inclusive vacation so we were a bit apprehensive when we arrived. Our first impression wasn't great but after our first dinner at the beach restaurant, our worries about the food were gone! The food was fabulous in all restaurants EXCEPT the main one that was more like cafeteria food. My advice would be to make reservations at the special restaurants and the dinner on the beach was amazingly romantic and the service was exceptional. Overall, we loved our stay! There were opportunities to be social but it was easy to get away and be alone. I highly recommend it!!

Amazing getaway for couples. Perfect atmosphere, good amenities, good staff, good people. Paid items are a little bit of a rip off (like private tours, spa etc..) but the stay is good value for money. Enjoyed the overall experience.

I went to the resort with my wife for our honeymoon and it was amazing! St Lucia was amazing. We wished we were there longer (stayed about 7 days) so we could've enjoyed all the amenities at the resort as well as enjoy the island more. The food was good, the staff was very friendly. The all-inclusive feature helps so much because you don't have to worry about how much you're spending on food and drinks. The service was excellent. The pools are clean and there's a good number of them. The seating space in the main pool was limited (very popular area), but the other (quieter) pool had plenty. The beach is small - probably 10 to 15 feet of sand, but not a problem. The location in relation to the Hewanorra airport is about 1.5 hrs, but the Castries airport is about 20 minutes, so try to fly in from SLU (Castries) - we went home from here. We fly in from Hewanorra and the ride was a bit bumpy with a lot of stop and go. The room itself was slightly above average. We were on the first floor closer to the quieter pool. The bathroom was okay, but felt a little crammed. There was a couch, dressers, a TV and a small table, so there weren't a lot of floor space in the room. Had HBO and Cinemax. We also caught a lot of mosquitoes in the room - ask the front desk to spray the room. It helps a little. Amenities were plentiful and great. The gym was pretty big (didn't use it though) and very well AC'ed - almost too cold. There were a few hammocks and a couple of jacuzzi. There is a tour guide desk where you can book your excursions through. They were very helpful. Ziplining and Snuba were very fun to do - the first time we did it. All of the staff and amenities were great. Will visit again.

We spent a week in the resort and had a great time. It has plenty of restaurants to choose from and we only ate at the same place twice. The activities the resort offers are great as well. We recommend the zip lining and island excursion. Book the island excursion with "Simon Says" rather than through the hotel. He's the tour director of the hotel and does private tours on his days off. Only downside is that the resort is exactly on the opposite of the island from the Pitons, so you'll only see them on your excursion.

The service was "the best possible" at the Sandals grande hotel. The service at the Pier restaurant at Halycon was horrible. Very rude staff. Would not go there again. Food here was not good there either.

It was a wonderful experience

While the staff were extremely nice & helpful - there were several things that'd make me never come back. The pool area was so loud - this dj talked the entire afternoon. Not relaxing. There were several restaurants but the good quality was terrible. I've never been so hungry on vacation. I am vegetarian and no choices and what I did have wasn't tasty or fresh. Not even the fruit! My bf eats meat and he said the meat was not well cooked and poor quality. We went to another Sandals for dinner and his steak was burnt & tough. My veggie meal was slimy and gave me a stomach ache. The ocean was great and the pools were nice. They never changed our sheets either - for 5 nites. There is no real town to speak of - very poor area around so no outside trips to town. I like all inclusive but this place was a rip off.

Lots of things to do and places to eat between the three hotels. Fun pool atmosphere, lots of great couples to meet! Awsome island activities, service is alittle slow but thats island time for you. LOTS of mosquitos!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome rooms, great beachfront location, TONS to do there. Only downside is they seem to offer way too many "extras" to try to get you to spend more money (after you've thrown down a good chunk for the all inclusive package). The main pool area was a bit rowdy at times, but there are numerous side pools that are much quieter. The watersports are offered free wakeboarding, sailing & kayaks. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way a bit was one night when I was feeling a tiny bit sick, I tried to order room service, and was told my room category didn't offer room service in the evening.

Every morning we were greeted with salutations and warm smiles from everyone on the staff. No Pressure No Problem is really a code that they instill into each of their guests. Embrace it.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and had the time of our lives! We went scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, sailed a hobby cat and catamaran and swam in the ocean. We did a lot of activities and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was so nice and always helpful! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. This is by far the best trip ever and you can't beat the "all inclusive packages!"

My wife and I had a great time! We would definitely recomend this to other newly weds!

The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We utilized room service often and it was excellent. The airconditioning was the best I have encountered in all my travels to tropical destinations and kept the room nice and cool. The restaurants had a nice variety of food and tasted pretty good. The Red Lane Spa was excellent, and we had a 1 hour couples massage that was unbelievable. I highly recommend a massage. We were disappointed that there were no servers bringing drinks around as we lounged by the pool. If you are looking for a great beach, St. Lucia is probably not the place to go. The beach was well groomed, but it looked like all the beaches on the island are very small (not much sand). The pool was great. Sandals provides transportation to and from either airport on the island. Overall, we had a wonderful honeymoon and a great stay!

Sandals Grande St. Lucia was the perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The beachfront rooms facing Rodney Bay and the pool were amazing. The rooms were very luxerious and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to see that we were satisfied, and even though the service was sometimes slow in some restaurants, we enjoyed the laid back island style. Snorkle excursions, water ski, Hobie Cat, kayaking were also included, so we enjoyed this as well. We had to endure 12 hours of travel time to get there from LA, but it was well worth it once we got there.
