This may be the finest Caribbean resort we have stayed at to date. The views are nothing short of epic. The food and drink are exemplary. The locals are as kind as you could ever ask for. We absolutely adored Jade Mountain and will certainly return.

We are a group of 10 adults staying at Villa Coulibri near Jade Mountain resort for the week and wanted to enjoy a day at the beach. I highly recommend buying the resort day pass for $125.00 each plus taxes for the day. It included a comfy lounge chair, palapa umbrella, lunch, all you can drink, and water sports. Most of us used the paddle boards and snorkeled. There were lots of other water sports available. The beach was awesome and it was not too busy. Lunch was delicious and drinks were very good. A couple of glitches with service when we arrived but it all worked itself out and the rest of the day, it was awesome! Would definitely recommend and return!

I must start this review by saying that this hotel offered the most magnificent views of any hotel I've been to. The room overlooked the majestic pitons and the beautiful sea. I loved the open concept and the infinity pool located in the room. I could of spent my entire holiday in this room. The beach was quiet and private. The service at the beach was exceptional, I wish all hotels had this kind of service, all you had to do was put your flag out. The restaurant on the beach was romantic and the food was delicious, a wide variety of gourmet choices. The restaurant up top had exceptional service and once again the food was top notch. I enjoyed the cocktail parities on the roof top. We went on an island tour and enjoyed the beautiful sites including the cocoa plantation, the waterfalls, the rainforest, souffriere and the coast. I would also recommend the catamaran day trip, the views from the boat are spectacular. I must not forget the great massages we had in our room overlooking the sea and the pitons. The massage therapist we're excellent and it was so peaceful getting the massage in our room. Everything about this resort has been well thought of and would encourage travellers to go visit this sanctuary.

First i have to express my gratitude to the owners and staff of this hotel that made our 8 day stay a Dream. The place has an architectural beauty that is very hard to find in the world. The water features on the grounds and in the rooms are just simply incredible. Each room has a pool and a view there are only few rooms with no pool in the room. The service and food was in the luxury category and there is nothing i would change about this place. The owner does not believe in tv's in the room nor he believes in clocks or watches so we managed to disconnect as we have not done it in a long time. The sky at night was incredible if you love looking at the stars you will be enchanted. you can view the sky from the top restaurant and from each room. We spent a lot of time looking at the sky get a binocular with you some rooms have telescopes not all. There is no ac but temperature was perfect as there were many fans. The open room is a marvel birds and water sounds. Morning sunrise from your bed and sunsets. This is a place to come to find peace. There are Yoga classes every day , the massages in the room were just amazing at sunset. There are classes to make chocolate and explore their gardens as they grow a lot of the products they cook with there. There is a chocolate lab and they do make their own chocolate. I loved the restaurant at the top. But all restaurants were excellent. They serve burgers on the beach and there are 2 beach areas. Scuba diving was amazing right from the property and you can also do a wreck dive also dives at the bottom of the Pitons Mountain. Is a must visit you will never regret going there. I know when i die i will remember this place I WILL NEVER FORGET THE TIME I SPENT THERE. Teddy he explained to us everything we needed to know about the plants on the resort he was an encyclopedia of knowledge very happy and nice. Johnella in the top restaurant , the hostess extremely nice we talked to her every day. 2 Buttlers Veto and Christos excellent service Michellina she sang to us at the dinner on the beach on a Tuesday night Shawn the chef his food was just incredible at the treetop restaurant Milan he served us drinks at the top restaurant he was amazing and kept us happy with different drinks Baba Luie and there was a server there that was so nice extremely nice he was the nicest person out of all our stay and we forgot his name. he made us drinks with rum as Scott was coughing. I feel so bad we forgot his name but he was serving on the beach not the beach with the dive shop but the one were baba luie makes burgers that were so delicious. The massage ladies were nice and also the lady who cleaned our room always brought extra coffee packs as she knew i was drinking more than normal.

It's hard to describe Jade Mountain in words, because they just don't do it justice. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in paradise, and we were pampered from the time we got there until we left 5 days later. To start, we had booked a "moon" sanctuary but were surprised with a double upgrade to a "galaxy" sanctuary for our 20th anniversary. It was huge and felt very private, and the views were just amazing. Hours after we arrived, it was raining in the distance and there was a double rainbow with the Pitons as a backdrop. We were greeted with a tour of the room, a bottle of champagne, and an afternoon snack (which was waiting for us every afternoon during our stay). Our butlers Christus & Vito were great! They did everything from bringing us breakfast to our room (on the day we hiked to the top of Gros Piton Christus brought us breakfast at 5:30am), leaving beautiful towel and flower sculptures on our bed, bringing us cocktails in the afternoon, and even drawing us a hot bath for after our hike! The food was fantastic at the on-site restaurant, as well at Anse Chastanet. I've never stayed at a resort where I felt like spending several hours a day in the room, but it truly is a sanctuary with the beautiful views and the infinity pool. A couple of useful notes: You know going in this is an open air place with no A/C, and no 4th wall. The fans and the pool mostly do a great job of keeping you cool, but we did get a little warm at night. They provide a water gun to shoo away the birds that visit, and citronella candles and bug spray for the mosquitos. We found that the mosquitos were very small and didn't realize we were getting bitten until about the 3rd day. There is a lovely mosquito net around the bed to keep them out at night. There are lots and lots of steps and walking. This didn't bother us at all, but some might find it off-putting. We enjoyed hiking down to the beach each day, walking from one beach to the other, and just walking around the property. Overall, this was an amazing vacation. The views were spectacular and the service was excellent.

What a way to spend our 10 year anniversary. Everything was perfect. The room is truly a sanctuary. The service was truly the best we have ever had! Our butlers were very friendly and attentive. The food was out of this world. The rooms are amazing. We really enjoyed our excursions (we did the romance package and definitely worth it). We will be back!

We just returned from a week in sanctuary paradise, and just as pictures fail to truly convey the incredible, breathtaking view of the Pitons, words also fall short in describing the wonder that is Jade Mountain. No amount of research--reading all of the TA reviews, browsing the pictures, perusing the forums—can actually prepare you for what you experience when you walk across your bridge, push through the door and feast your eyes on the most amazing space which you will ever inhabit. The view of the Pitons is actually icing on the cake. All of the superlatives that have been written are true. Jade Mountain has the most unique architecture, the most thoughtful interior design and furnishings, the most fantastic cuisine, and the most over-the-top personal service, which combined make for a truly unforgettable vacation experience. First, let me say that anyone thinking about visiting Jade Mountain who is weighing whether it is worth the money (which I agonized over), it is—by a long shot. We took advantage of the 7 nights for the price of 5 promotion and did the all inclusive, which I highly recommend. We booked a Moon Sanctuary and were psyched to be upgraded to a Sun, although I think any of the infinity pool sanctuaries would have been wonderful. We were in JB1, which gave us dual views of the Pitons and the Anse Chastenet beach (and sunsets). How wonderful was the sanctuary? My wife, who is usually on the beach until the last gasp of sunlight, said on day two that we should return to the room mid-afternoon: she didn’t want to miss out on “sanctuary time.” Up to the time we stepped into our sanctuary I was concerned about the lack of a fourth wall, but my anxiety was unfounded. The Jade Mountain open air concept is an embrace of the outdoors, and it works: hearing the birds in the morning (the nicest alarm clock I’ve ever experienced), listening to the tree frogs and crickets at night, sliding into the en-suite infinity pool to cool off and hanging on the edge, staring at the Pitons—nothing compares. Most days we had breakfast delivered to the room and ate dinners at the Jade Mountain Club, which is excellent. Our Major Domos, Keiran and Teddy, were the best and took such good care of us—really at our beck and call at all times. For lunches we usually ate at our beach chairs from the Beach restaurant, which was also very good—with Sylvia keeping us “hydrated” all day long. All of the beach staff—Junior, Vincent, Sylvia, Bert and Andy—were so attentive and always looking to make us happy. And it’s true, the hamburger at the nearby Anse Mamin beach is delicious. For activities we made our own chocolate treats at the chocolate factory, climbed the Gros Piton (wear sturdy shoes, take lots of water), snorkeled, walked the jungle bike trails, and had a couples massage at the spa. We wanted to do more but ran out of energy and time, choosing instead to enjoy the beach and our sanctuary. For anyone concerned about the “negatives” in prior reviews, the walk down to the beach was no big deal, nor was the walk up, but if we didn't feel like walking, we’d call our Domos for the shuttle when leaving the beach, and in less than five minutes we were back in our sanctuary. The cell phones they gave us to communicate with the Domos worked fine the whole time. The wireless in room was fine—not spotty at all. And the infinity pool was heated and refreshing, day and night. As the title to this review states, Jade Mountain is a bucket list item. Our senses were bombarded – by the sights and sounds of nature around us, by the amazing architecture and wonder of Jade Mountain’s beauty, and of course by our sanctuary, which was incomparable to any place we have ever stayed. When you return from your trip and try to explain it to your friends, they don’t quite get how special it is—words don’t do it justice. But unlike most bucket list items, for us, this one has to be checked off more than once. It was so special, and we will definitely return.

It was amazing we stay at the Galaxy suit the experience is amazing is an outdoor room no walls private pool and jacuzzi by far is Top is one of a kind experience on this hotel Gym a little too small but your here for the amazing view

Words cannot express how amazing, unique, breathtaking and beyond unbelievable Jade Mountain is!!!! We stayed in a Sun Suite which was huge and had its own infiniti pool in the room!!!! Our butler, Teddy was beyond awesome! The food at the Jade Cub was amazing. Everyone on staff was delightful and helpful. The entire trip was like a segment on lifestyles of the rich and famous!!! It was worth every penny and we will definitely return. The Spa treatments in your sanctuary were awesome!

We all struggle in choosing the best places for our special vacations – even more when it comes to honeymoon. All should be perfect – location, room, food, nature … for these memories and pictures never to forget. Unfortunately it is rare to find places where all comes together. Our choice fell on Jade Mountain in the Caribbean St. Lucia. A tropical island which does not only offer world class beaches but also beautiful rainforest – small enough to get the island feeling – big enough to have also active holidays apart from the beach. Arriving in Jade Mountain is already an experience by itself – a ride through tropical forest on bumpy dirt roads will make you wonder if there can be any good at the end of this journey – but make no mistake – this is just part of getting you away from the rest of this world into ‘a place to be’. Right after arrival you are led to your “sancturary” … yes – there is hotels that offer rooms and there is Jade that offers sanctuary – and as you cross ‘your’ bridge to your sanctuary and open the door you will know where the difference is. Carefully crafted from natural warm materials and completely open to the incredible view to the see and the Pitons (the trademark mountains of St. Lucia) you will feel immedialtely home a this place. The infinity pool and a layout that isolates views of all rooms from each other gives you privacy and it is easy to feel at home right away. After exploring the hotels wonderful hill gardens we went to the roof top bar and restaurant to enjoy an incredible sunset with some champagne and cocktails followed by a dinner from a chef and crew that needs no hiding from any world class kitchen. That live BGM during the dinner just makes you right again feel ‘taken care of’. Love mornings ? Well – look forward to it … waking up with birds visiting your open room – take a swim in your pool and then enjoy the truly best breakfast I ever had – choices, taste and decoration – simply all in sync. We have seen a lot of top places around the globe in our life and truly enjoyed 5 nights here in one of the best paces we have ever been. One will probably find everywhere 'something' missing… but the overall composition here together with exceptional friendly and attentive staff gives this resort without doubt a place in our all times top 3.
