Serviceable hotel with hot water, great views of the pitons if you choose ocean view, and clean rooms. Great way to experience Soufriere nightlife with many local bars surrounding the hotel.

Hotel is at downtown location with all the characteristics of a downtown hotel described by other travelers: no elevator to 4 th floor, basic room with no breakfast, panhandlers around hotel, tight parking, etc..For 2 nite stay and adventure travelers would be fine.

friendly staff, clean and spacious room. crib was already in the room when we arrived. overally a positive experience

It was a relaxing stay. Food place right underneath. Food was really good. Had a great time. Location is pretty good as well. Will suggestion this place if you are just passing by.

Loved it! So helpful and friendly. Had a blast. Great value.

My daughter and I were here for four nights. Room was fairly clean, large. Very old sheets. Mini-fridge provided was ancient, but it worked. Staff was generally helpful. The big concern was the incredible noise from the streets below - there is music played several nights of the week that literally shakes the windows till 2AM. This is obviously not under the control of the hotel management, but it is something to consider in this location. Otherwise, the location is very convenient and the price was fair for what was provided.

The overall experience of my stay at the Downtown hotel was good. It was a good base to reach everything around Soufriere. As a single woman traveling alone I felt perfectly safe walking to the Botanical garden and around town alone. I even walked the dirt road from downtown to Anse Chasanet for great snorkles and back. I had room #9 which provided me with a wonderful view of the mountains and a little bit of the bay. The room was spacious but very basic. The staff: Charlma, Mrs. Jackson and Collette were very informative and helpful with tips. Good rotis and fresh fruits across the church near the hotel.

We stayed here as a base camp to go to the Diamond Waterfalls and go snorkling. It was reasonable and we do not mind being in the middle of the local people. There was some panhandleing to deal with. The staff helped us with directions and suggesting places to eat.

Umm... not much good to say except that the location is bad. Staff was good and the hotel was pretty clean. But that doesnt change the fact that it was more than an hour away from anything decent and that the hotel infrastructure looke 50 years old.
