Good location in st. Helena. The room was big and comfortable but the corridor outside our room was dirty. I complained twice about the dirt but it seems no one cared to take an action on it. The dirty area we saw when we checked in was there when we checked out… Breakfast is very basic. Overall we expected much more for the price we paid. For a similar price we stayed in nicer hotels in the area.

Great views from balcony. Great location and very clean and cozy property

The room was dirty and full of bugs. Cobwebs all over the interior room's ceilings. We asked for housekeeping, which is part of our contract, and were refused. Housekeeping refused to service. Staff incredibly rude and unhelpful. Charged us an extra night on the way out. If it was $50 a night, the above may be more acceptable. But at $600, completely inappropriate. Look for better hotels down the road.

Excellent breakfast! Phenomenal menu can’t wait to try what’s next

This is a lovely inn with beautiful surroundings. Genuinely felt like we were in Tuscany. Small, i believe there are 30 rooms. All recently updated and nicely appointed. No elevator though. Wonderful buffet style breakfast that came complimentary with our booking. Lovely friendly and accommodating staff. If you are going out to dinner, I recommend going to St. Helena instead of napa. We made dinner reservations for downtown napa and didn't realize that this location was about 45 min from there. St Helena was much closer and just as quaint.

We stayed only one night due to the terrible fires, but the hotel is beautifully decorated and in a peaceful location. The staff was lovely & could not be nicer.

Wondeful views, some of fhe nicest in Saint Helena

I brought my wife on our 10th anniversary. We loved so much about this Inn. The staff was wonderful, the location ideal, the views fantastic, and the pool relaxing on 100 degree day. The landscaping is beautiful and well kept. Everything was very clean and the accessible. From 5-6pm on both Friday and Saturday, they host complimentary wine tastings. We were able to experience Schweiger and Orin Swift which were a very pleasant surprise. The only issue we had was that our room was so dated. It just didn't match the quality of the rest of the Inn or the pictures that you see online. It was still very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view, but for the price paid they need to renovate quickly. We still really enjoyed our trip but I would be hesitant to go back and would look for alternatives if I knew I was going to get one of the old rooms.

Only stayed one night but it was a wonderful experience. Loved the beautiful view off the balcony and out my window in the large bathroom. Was a very romantic spot for my husband and I who spent our 6th wedding anniversary there. Would love to come back!

Wine Country Inn was a beautiful setting for our vacation! Excellent staff, recently renovated rooms, delicious breakfast daily & overall wonderful experience! Highly recommend this place!

Staff was so helpful and friendly. We loved the room and hotel. Breakfast was different from all other menus, quiche, fresh fruit, cheeses, fresh variety of breads and muffins.

My husband and I stayed at Wine Country Inn and absolutely loved it. It was very relaxing and welcoming. We had wonderful views from our room and our bathroom. The room was very spacious and had a nice sized balcony overlooking vineyards. Breakfast was delicious, even for someone picky like me. We only stayed one night, so we will be back for a longer stay. I would like to relax by their pool, soak in the hot tub and enjoy the lush grounds. Best place for me in Napa area, no need to try other places anymore. We found our St. Helena home away from home.

it was a very pleasant place, clean and quiet, a very nice breakfest

Amazing rooms with Balconeys and Fire Places. What more needs to be said

It was a terrible service for example they gave us a breakfast in a bag, and they put it on the floor what we were for them DOGS? awful for that price I could find a much better hotel for the half price they say they are 4 stars I don’t think it is even 2 stars AWFUL

We appreciate the time you took to provide us with some feedback after your stay this weekend. I am sorry you were not satisfied with the response time from our team regarding the cleanliness status of the hallway outside your room. With extreme weather conditions taking place during your stay, we worked hard keep up with clearing debris. We will be reviewing with our team how we could have better prioritized your request and how we can improve moving forward. We hope to welcome you back to the property again in the future and provide you with a more positive memory of our property.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are shocked to hear of the challenges you faced during your stay as this is very uncommon. Here are a few explanations to the issues you've pointed out, in case you didn't understand when we explained them to you upon check-in. Our rooms are meticulously cleaned after each guest and our Housekeepers do an amazing job. You mentioned having cobwebs and bugs in your room, we will be sure to look into your response as we have the room number you stayed in. Thank you for letting us know. Housekeeping is based upon request at check-in. For the safety of our staff and guests, we ask that you not be in the room during service. There is no reason for us to refuse service to your room unless you were physically in the room or if the service was requested after hours. Our check-out time is 11am. This ensures time to be able to thoroughly clean the room for the next guest and uphold our check-in time of 4pm, which is part of our contract to our guests. When guests check-out after 11am (your reservation shows a check-out of 2:30pm), this creates a problem for our staff and the next guest scheduled to check into that room. Should your travel plans bring you to the Napa Valley in the future, we hope you find another property in the area that will exceed your expectations, should you decide not to stay with us. The Napa Valley is a wonderful place to stay and we take pride in the hospitality we provide to all of our guests. Cheers!
