Perfect beach vacay

SGI certainly hits the three most important metrics: location, location, location. SGI is a wonderful "old Florida" building. It is beautiful, nostalgic and accommodating. It is. most certainly, not a 2025 slick brass and glass facility. However, it will transport one back in time to a simpler era. Just magnificent.

A great gem of a stay

Great check-in experience. LaChantelle was really nice and sweet. Love the fact that the hotel was close to the beach and the lighthouse. Wish we had more restaurant options. Many of them were closed on Monday.

Good location for area not sure I realize there were three levels of steps so that needs to be advertised. If it's not, accommodations are very minimal floors and furniture needed to be cleaned. Potentially updated. Will say the bed, the sheets, the pillows everything were in good condition

The Inn is conveniently located close to the beach, which is a big plus! The bed was comfy, the couch and chairs were comfy, and everything was decently quiet. We had a little trouble with an outlet crackling when a phone was plugged in, and the shower was a little aggressive for our taste. Otherwise, it was a good overnight stay!

Cleanliness/mechanical issues

The location and the Inn are great. But, the room had some cleanliness and mechanical issues. The sheets on the bed had blood stains on them and the refrigerator in the room had left overs in it from the previous guests. The mechanical issues were the lack of water pressure from the bathroom faucet, its was little more than a trickle. The shower never had hot water, whether it was in the evening or the next morning. Besides that, the Inn has a very chill vibe with its atmosphere and walking distance to everything on the island.
