Excellent staff. So helpful. We loved the shuttle to downtown. So great
Everything was great, except a rotten fruit found in front of the refrigerator and the pool is too small, but the rest was ok beautiful place.
While the hotel looked beautiful the service really underwhelmed. To begin with I requested a single king size bed and instead was placed in a room with two queen beds. When I called the font desk to have this changed there was no apology and no effort to correct it. The following day my wife and I left early to see the city and when we returned at almost 5pm no one hand been in the room at all! I called down to at least get fresh towels and again received no apology or explanation. When the staff member showed up they simply dropped off the fresh towels, left the dirty ones and left with no explanation. While downstairs at the bar I overhead a couple say that the same thing happened in their room so this was not an isolated incident. At checkout the staff did comp the internet, which is surprisingly not complimentary, and I finally received an apology for both the wrong room and lack of cleaning. This hotel is a firm 2 1/2 - 3 stars and is definitely not 4 stars as advertised. I will be staying elsewhere on my next visit to St. Augustine.
Great overall experience, excep for the registry at starbucks, she was incredibly rude.
The grounds are nice and well maintained but we were very disappointed with the level of service and the overall atmosphere of the resort. We had requested a king size bed and were given two doubles. Upon entering the room we found the tables and window sill to be dusty and the bathroom counters had a residue on them. There are large gaps (at least an inch and a half) under the room doors and we could hear everything in the hallway. This wouldn't have bothered us too badly except there was a large family staying there with many children (I believe it was a family reunion) and they were playing tag, running through the hallways, and yelling across the atrium until well past 11pm. We were located near a stair well and they were constantly slamming the door for at least 2 hours. None of the hotel staff requested they be quiet or stop running through the hallways and monopolizing the elevators. We booked what we thought would be a quiet romantic getaway and ended up feeling like we were sleeping with a daycare next door.
The hotel was very nice, very disappointed with the drinks from the bar not worth what they charged. The people and staff were very nice and accommodating. The information about the hotels surrounding shops...made it sound you can go shopping .majority of stores vacant. Was ok for one.night...otherwise would choose a different hotel.
Quality property, good value, IMAX theatre 1 minute walk away. Hotel is a bit far from downtown St Augustine and the beach.
Staff was awesome, room service even better. I booked this on our way to Jacksonville for the weekend. For a last minute weekend getaway for the golf tournament it was awesome!
great place to stay with friendly staff... golf/beach and historic downtown all within a short drive.... well worth the stay
Very safe feel. Kids loved it. Open areas everywhere. Clean as can be. Staff was helpful.
Its was amazing friendly staff great room very comfortable very clean pool was nice
I booked this hotel when I decided to visit St. Augustine with my girlfriend over the 4th of July holiday. The hotel is tucked away in the back of the world golf village, and the check in and the staff were great when we arrived. The room was clean, and my only criticism would be the fact that there is a large gap under the door to the rooms so any noise in the hallway won't be muffled as much coming into the room. The Wifi is $12.95 per day to use, but you can go to the lobby and use it for free. I didn't pay, instead just tethered my phone. I normally look for hotels that offer free Wifi as it's highway robbery to charge for it these days. Our room overlooked the golf course and I can say I had no real complaints. The bed was soft and they had feather pillows, so if you prefer a firmer bed then that might be an issue for you. Overall comfortable accommodations, and when the hotel was full with families and kids running all over the place on July 3rd that's when the noise issue was highlighted a bit more. I would definitely stay here again though.
This was such a great hotel and what a beautiful area rather than a exit stop. Downside was there wasn't much dining around but you can get what you want one exit away. The grounds at World Golf Village was beautiful. Main thing was it was clean, safe, and away from traffic. The price was also so reasonable.
Very Clean and great hotel with everything and walk right over to the Golf Hall Of Fame
Hotel (resort for golfers) is 60 miles North of the International Speedway and was the only 4 stars search engine had to offer; it came out to be a good experience, very nice reception, and quiet room although hotel is close to I-95. Restaurant menu is weak, Italian basic.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was exceptional.
The hotel is beautiful. The staff very courteous and helpful. Beautiful landscape. We weren't there enough time to be able to enjoy the IMAX theater because we were there only for the wedding, but it was very reasonably price and would like to do it, next time we are in St. Augustine. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff was very helpful. We were there a little after the chef closed, and the waiter insisted that she could have eggs made to order still from the kitchen. We were 2 adults and 2 children, so we got the double beds, not very comfortable...the pillows were stuffy and a bit hard.
We used this hotel as our base for the week in St. Augustine. The landscaping was beautiful, and although it was close to the highway it was quiet. It was an easy drive to town. The room was clean. The air conditioner worked great and was quiet. We had 2 11 year old boys with us and they enjoyed the pool and billiards. Internet access was 12.00 per day so we skipped it. Free computers in the lobby though.
Arrived earlier than check in time and was still shown to my room. Front office staff was extra courteous.
