great stay

Only downside was parking was not close by.

Quaint B and B with friendly staff. Great location, near everything. My only grip was the fact that although “stairs” was mentioned in the room description, it should have been a little more definitive. The stairs to our room were outdoors, steep, and narrow. Not easy to navigate with luggage. Seniors beware of this room.

Staff is wonderful owner is visible at morning breakfast preparing your meal and socially talking with visiter.

The staff was extremely friendly and the breakfast was outstanding!

The place was very close too everything and the owners are so nice and accommodating. Anthony makes breakfast every morning that you will look forward wake up with fresh coffee!

The lovely B&B is in the center of the Historic District, right next to Avilés Street, and a few steps from the Archives, the military hospital and other points of interest. It is two blocks from Saint George Street, studded with historic houses. The building is cozy, decorated in Victorian style, with a delightful parlor and sitting room. Anthony and Marilyn always surprise us with a different home cooked breakfast every day, with fresh rosemary seasoning form the garden. My room, the Wedgewood suite, was quiet and roomy. I loved the special touches, such as the chocolate kisses on the bed next to the animals fashioned from hand towels--a different one every day. The whole city of Saint Augustine is a hidden jewel, and Victorian House is the perfect base to explore it! I hope to visit again soon!

The room had a definite unpleasant odor. It was on the first floor. I thought it may have been subject to flooding. The breakfast was unfulfilling. An apparent store bought muffin with fruit (fresh), good coffee and a piece of breading which was very very sweet. No protein at all. The bed and breakfast is located conveniently to the Main Street of the city and we were near many attractions. However, the parking was a circuitous 7 - 8 blocks away through the city’s one way streets. Not the restaurants fault, but it did not add to a positive experience. Finally, the ambiance of the location was shockingly poor. As we sat out on the small porch, we saw inumerable cars back from a closed street (construction) and not able to make a turn without backing up 2 - 3 times due to an extremely tight corner. However, I will say the bed was comfortable and the owner was very pleasant. Not worth the money though.

I enjoyed our stay in our Bed and Breakfast because of the location to the city...the only downside was road construction combined with one way streets making it a challenge to get there...but once you knew which streets to use it was ok... The staff was absolutely perfect and more than willing to make us feel welcome... Would recommend this place anytime!

Nice B&B that is near everything in the historic district. Room was very comfortable.

Walking in was like stepping into the past with the peaceful setting and beautiful decor. The Magnolia was quiet and very inviting. Our host was kind and offered a lot of assistance with things to do in the area.

The innkeepers were so friendly and accommodating! They gave us some wonderful recommendations and a map of the area which was very helpful. The breakfast on the day I made it down was incredible, I recommend you take advantage of that. Overall we would absolutely go back and stay there again!

We were so pleased with our stay at Victorian House. We stayed in Maurcie's Suite and were quite pleased with the decor and comfort. Awesome location! Loved Anthony's breakfast! If there was one negative thing... it would be the on-site parking (limited small spaces) however I've been to Saint Augustine many times and parking in this city is always an issue as the streets were not designed for today's vehicles. They do have plenty of offsite parking a couple short blocks away which is where I chose to park because I have a very large vehicle. The great thing is because of the location you can walk to most everything. We would highly recommend Victorian House and we will definitely go back again!

I can't say enough good things about Victorian House. Anthony greeted us at check in and was so warm and welcoming. The caring really shows in the personal touches, like fresh baked cookies, complimentary white and red wine and complementary coffee and tea available at all hours. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast was beautifully done both mornings. All service was with a warm and friendly smile. Anthony was full of recommendations that were valid to us without chatting our ear off. The property is beautiful but the staff makes it outstanding!

The hotel was literally walking distance from all attraction. Breakfast was nice and original, the staff was outstanding and very helpfull. It was all in all one of the best experience I had

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was so quaint and relaxing. Loved it.
