Check-in was inconvenient because we had to get parking passes, but arrived on Sunday, and the office there is closed Sunday's - meanwhile we had to either park outside the property or ignore all the menancing and scary signs about what would happen to us if we parked without a parking pass. A heads up that the check-in instructions wouldn't be able to be executed would have been nice so you wouldn't have to sink an hour into figuring out what to do at arrival. However, the real problem was that many things didn't work in the unit: some TV remotes, toaster, sliding door, and ice-maker didn't work which were all ok to navigate, but non-functional dryer was a significant issue for us, since the 8 of us packed light anticipating that we could run many loads of laundry while we were there. Vacasa (owner of the property) totes 24/7 service, but all that means is that a friendly person from some far away location will recieve your request for service, but that ultimately no service will come and no attempt will actually be made to help you. We never had anyone come to help the entire week we were there and each day requests were made for help, so that we could stop spending a bunch of time and money at the laudromat when we wanted to be on the beach. This is one of the worst customer services experiences I've ever had, and a claim at 24/7 service is a laughable misrepresentation of service. Vacasa is simply awful.
