We stayed during Sinhalese New Year days. The hotel was almost full, but they were able to provide us excellent. From the reception to restuarant, the staff is very helpful & pleasant. Room is clean & nice. We stayed in Deluxe with moutain valley view. Restuarant is great with much variety of food. All 3 meals was superb. The staff is very prompt. They had also arranged small avurudu celebration and games which was a really fun & cool. Had a great stay suurounding misty hills.
The gave us a nice and well experienced service. also this is Hotel is placed nearby Hantana Mountain where suitable for night camping fro Non- Alcoholic persons. if you wish to stay close to Kandy downtown this is very good place.
Pros: Breathtaking view, kind staff, yummylicious meals at Rasawasala Restaurant (especially Breakfast buffet), decent night life. Cons: -There are no lifts in the Hotel. -The set up of the Ayurvedic Spa at the Hotel is definitely inviting, but the rates are expensive as compared to Spa's in Colombo. Overall Review of the Hotel: Excellent
Very comfortable uphill location with dominating views over the city of Kandy and surrounding mountains. Nice swimming pool, friendly staff and good all you can eat buffet with local and international cuisine. Plentiful fruits choices. Comfortable air-conditioned rooms with superb views.
It was our 3rd visit to Amaya for family dinner. Yes it was indeed a great experience. From the time we entered to the lobby until we come out they served us in a special way. Dinner buffet was full of scrumptious food & the service given us memorable. Thank you Amaya for making our visit a memorable one. Special thanks to F& B team Will be back again Cheers .
Set high on one of the hills near to bustling Kandy all the rooms have a balcony with a view over beautiful countryside. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The dining room and bar had magnificent views also. Hotel is at the end of a narrow winding road (about 3Km) uphill. Food good. The hotel caters for traditional weddings at the weekends - as a tourist this added much interest. Four stars just for the views.
We stayed in Amaya Hills for two nights in April 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The food was very tasty and the dining room service amazing. The rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed. Wonderful views from the room and dining area. Cons: No lift - which might be a handicap for some. Have to cross an open area to get to the dining room which might be troublesome when it is raining.

Beautiful location. After checking out from Amaya lake 12th April morning we checked in to Amaya hills. Food was amazing...you name it...you have it. We enjoyed to the maximum. Check in 12th April 2018
Location is really nice. But service needs huge lift. They have not done my reservation and I ended up with a standard room instead a deluxe which ordered. Their departments are not synced. I think quality of service is going down
