Fantastic place. Staff very friendly, food is good, the room was lovely and the VIEW is breath taking!! Was also able to see the private bungalow with spa and swimming pool. The service was top notch. We were able to get transportation for a decent fee from hotel to Kandy Railway station. Will plan a visit again very soon. Thank you

Glad i booked this hotel. View of was mesmerizing and beautiful. Breakfast was really good. Only issue we had is we faced power cut for a few minutes a couple times in a day. Rooms aren’t huge but overall it was a good experience there.

The employees here are great - each one I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The rooms are OK - as this was a business trip o struggled with limited lighting in the room. We ate breakfast here which had a great selection, as well as lunch and dinner all were delicious. The views from the hotels are incredible. Make sure you get a room off the pool facing the mountains- I can't say enough about the view. The temperature up there is slightly cooler than elsewhere due to the altitude so take a pullover. The rooms are aged and I had two single beds pushed together to form one. The beds are not that comfy but I slept well. There were a lot of groups in the hotel and in breakfast and dinner the groups were loud. The road to the hotel is quite the drive being narrow with traffic going both ways at speed.

This hotel has outstanding views of Kandy and the surrounding area. It is tastefully furnished and the rooms are nice enough (basic bathroom.) The balcony of the room is great. We enjoyed a drink at the bar (slow service) and we were looking forward to our meal. Unfortunately that is where this hotel is poor. The dining room is huge and has a 'coach party' feel (noisy, poor service, dirty tables etc.) We decided to give the average looking buffet a miss and ate A La Carte - it is very boring. The food was worse - I had a rissoto which was inedible. When the waiter asked if our food was good I said 'Sorry, no' and he laughed! I had left most of it so that should have been a clue. Breakfast wasn't much better. Our room was right over the BBQ so we couldn't sit on the balcony and late into the evening and early in the morning all we could hear was the scraping of chairs and tables from the restaurant. A poor night's sleep is not what you want! Expensive for a view and no sleep. I gave this hotel an Average rating as the location is stunning.

Amaya Hills hotel is beautiful with amazing views and surrounding!! This has to be my favourite in kandy! Nice staff and the rooms were beautifully made! Greatly enjoyed our stay! Food was also really good!.

We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful hotel with a excellent view, overlooking the hantane mountains. Food was great with a lot of selections. We enjoyed walking along the road, with the cool breeze. There are lot of activities ex: night club, climbing hantane mountains etc. Also the staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely visit again.

After the winding, breathtaking drive up to the hotel, when we stepped into the lobby to a warm greeting, we were drawn to the beautiful overlook balcony to watch the sun set. Everything about this hotel was first-rate and beautiful! Our room was lovely and we loved waking up to the beautiful tree-covered view. The restaurant was a bit slow, but our meal was well worth the wait! The staff was very friendly and helpful to us. It was excellent! It was also fun to see some traditional wedding parties having their photos taken there. It is obviously known for its beautiful location.

The hotel is beautifully done up. The staff, food, spa and location is just outstanding. My parents are pure vegetarians. The hotel took special care and made sure they serve vegetarian food. The rooms are beautifully done up and have a great view.

Stayed here just one night on a tour. Beautiful hotel with the mist amazing views. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food very good. We did a la carte menu as worked out cheaper (approx £15 for all 3 of us!). Perfect relaxing stay. What more could one want?

Comfortable accommodation with very politely charming staff. Great balcony view and pool. Super delicious Sri Lankan buffet and excellent breakfast . Really, they have a great kitchen creating some of the richest Spice Island flavours to be savoured here. Also a huge western buffet available, dinner and breakfast. Short drive into Kandy town.
