Owners were very friendly and responded to any request.

Very quick check-in. Property is nice and our room was clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice to have an elevator and A/C in the hallways and stairwell and a TV channel guide for the room. Lots of weeds and landscaping was a bit overgrown. Not a bad place overall.

Should be classified as a motel, not a hotel. Next to 2 abandoned businesses/hotels (spanning 5 buildings) and has a very active train track touching the back of the property. Very fast trains go by every 30 min or so, all night long and shake the entire building, especially the ground floor (we were in the middle). Interesting characters frequent this motel, and it appears that a few live there permanently, which isn’t a good sign. Wet feet smell is what our non-smoking room smelled like upon entry. Not very inviting. The bed was okay, some complain it’s a little hard and others too soft, but it just has a thin soft layer on top and is hard as a rock below. Slept okay for the night but I was exhausted. Trains kept my wife up all night, and I didn’t hear any (overnight). Online booking showed only 1 room remaining, but there were only 4 occupied rooms out of 59 upon arrival and 6 upon departure. I think it’s a marketing ploy they use to seem popular. Most neighborhood restaurants close by 8pm, though McDonald’s (across small town) and Casey’s General Store (2 blocks) and Taco Bell (1.5 blocks) are open late. Hotel staff were neither rude nor polite. It’s best to avoid them. They’re nightly rate is about 50-75% too high for the quality they provide. Lacking is the best way to describe this hotel/motel. Also, the photos of the king bed units are 2-4 times larger than the room we were provided, but I only saw one price listed for king bed sized units..I don’t recommend.

This hotel is just the bare necessities. It is an older hotel with no swimming pool. Small space to have breakfast. The breakfast is ok. The hotel staff is not friendly. It is ok if you just need a bed for the night.

The hotel owner/staff was rude and scary in his treatment to my daughters and me. Though the hotel was clean and comfortable, we would not be comfortable staying there again. They do seem to understand hospitable treatment of their occupants.

Nothing bad or wrong with this hotel, just there's no elevator..Other than that it was great.

It was overall clean and the bed was comfortable. They have a free breakfast which is a plus. The only complaint I would have is if you do not like smoking this is not the place for you. Even though we got a non smoking room they allow smoking in other rooms on the same floor, so the halls are filled with a smoke smell.

The room was clean, but the noise from the train that came thru about 10-times that night kept us a wake, I would not stay there again because sleep is important to us.It was suppose to be a Hot breakfast but the eggs and biscuit were cold. I have stayed other places for less money and more pleased.

The room was clean, there was a microwave and a refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. It was easy to get to. The only negatives were there was not a restaurant close by, but that was not the motel's fault and it was right next to the railroad with trains going by frequently and my room was upstairs which was a little difficult for me to maneuver. All in all it was a good experience and I would probably stay there again if the need arose.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel for a night and found it to be clean, comfortable, and quiet for the most part. I had read reviews of people stating the trains going by could be an issue, but we found that the trains were quieter than the motorcycles that came and left the hotel. :) This hotel offers a comfortable stay at a great value. We will use it again.
