Front desk personnel was not so friendly. Directions to our building were totally messed up. The outside to get into the building was not secured at any time while we were there. The room was definitely dated, small tv, no refrigerator or microwave. The noise level was very disturbing, between the ice machine noise and the water in the shower of our room and the adjoining rooms, little rest for a traveler. Rate this as one of the worst stays ever.
We liked having a variety of things to do- game room, pools, lake, etc. We didn't like that there wasn't Wifi in the rooms, and the check in staff wasn't very friendly. We wished the cafe was open on Sunday for breakfast. Everything else was great!
Nice resort, right on the lake, but has become more of a timeshare resort then anything for the public. I had a lot of trouble with the door lock, the bed was not very comfortable, towels were small and very worn, few amenities in the room. I.e. no refrigerator. Hot tub was out of order with no idea when it would be repaired.
Very outdated and dirty. Would not reccommed. Feel it was full because last weekend before school started and it was our last choice and only choice. For 225.00 a night, I expected a better, cleaner "resort". I would not call it a resort, more like a motel 6.
This hotel was probably great 20 years ago but now is in desperate need of updating. Our room chairs were very stained. The doors to the outside were dirty and grimy. The mini golf course was disappointing. The games in the rec room were very old. The beach was nice but all the chairs were taken by people putting their towels over them by 9:00 am. It's a shame this beautiful property has been let go. And a bigger shame that we paid top dollar for our room.
There were brown stains on the mattress. Pillows were flat. Bed felt like sleeping on plywood. Stains on chairs. Tiny old box TV. Shampoo bottle was open and half used. It was disgusting! We didn't stay our second night. They were good about canceling our second night.
I like that the resort had 3 pools and a beach on the property! I thought the room prices are high for the quality of the room. It is very outdated, with a tiny tv. It was $195/night and we didnt even have a mini fridge or microwave. The staff was very friendly.
