The location of the cottage was excellent, right on the water, with beautiful views and a beach for water access. However, the interior was not very comfortable or good for a group of four people. It smells strongly of mothballs throughout, especially the dressers and furniture. The beds, couch, and chairs have very old springs that make it uncomfortable to sleep and to sit in the house. On sunny days when we were outside, this was fine, but it's definitely not a good place to lounge or relax. The property management company reached out to ask if we needed anything, and we requested a few things, including that the trash be picked up, as both bins were completely full when we arrived. They did not bring any of the basic items requested (a sharp knife, a tea kettle) and did not pick up the trash, and we didn't hear from them again. For the price of this house, this is not at all what we expected. Future guests should be apprised of the conditions of the property.
