Wow what a great place to stay and eat. The hotel is spotless and our room was a lovely size and really comfortable. The pub is just opposite and it had a great atmosphere and we received a great welcome from the staff who were all brilliant. After some drinks we had dinner and the food was really fresh and cooked perfectly and really reasonably priced. Breakfast was included you help yourself to the buffet table which had plenty of choice then we had a full English. Just like dinner the food was great quality and cooked perfectly. We will definitely book again amazing place

The painted furniture had worn to wood on corners, the fabric setee was dirty, the shower door was black with dirt at the bottom, and just a general lack of cleaning as the furniture etc was of good quality and didn’t need money spending on it, just time. Disappointed that the 3 things on the menu I wanted were unavailable, but the food we had was nice.

Spacious room with everything you would need. Clean bed. Bathroom not as clean as I had hoped for. Staff were amazing and food in the Pilgrim inn was good. Check in and out easy. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

This place is a gem. Found via google search / Expedia. 10 out of 10 for everything. Service, food. The rooms were beautiful and excellent value for money. Perfect stop en-route to Southampton for cruising. Staff were so polite and accommodating. We arrived with 9 mins to spare before kitchen closed and we were served one of the best steak meals I have ever had. Brilliant! Cannot recommend this place enough.

Parking was good. Didn't use the bar. Nowhere around to walk the dog. No pathways on the road. The shower ran hot and cold. Grouting in Shower cubicle needed cleaning, although it was a lovely large walk in shower. Toilet seat was loose! I booked 3 nights, only stayed for 2. Not what or where I expected.

Nice room, but shower tiles grubby, stains on ceiling in bathroom and shower shamppo holder was very dirty. Chair in room was badly stained, light switches - some worked some didn't with intermittent flickering. Beautiful old floor standing mirror however the tilt would only stay at floor view so could only see from knees down unless was held or you knelt on the floor
