The resort is in the most location in the world. Quite and friendly, we had a great quiet time reconnecting and resting up. Too bad that the restaurant and spa was closed, but it did not compromise your trip. Thank you to the ladies working on site!

No one on docks no one answering the radios, no one helping with slip assignments, bathrooms dirty. Your docks were full and the boaters were just ignored! Staff at reservations desk did not know how to answer the radios. Boats were just tying up wherever they felt like because there was no one answering the radios. The marina is a huge asset to this property. Boats spend lots of should take care of us

We were sooo excited for this family vacation. Once we arrived on beautiful Pender Island and got into our cottage with a gorgeous view, we began to feel confused. This was a resort? This is what we paid $3700 a week for? Outdated and run down facilities, exorbitantly over priced spa and food services? Uncomfortable beds? Cleanliness was a challenge from the start and continued for the week. I would leave notes with needs to the housekeeping staff with a 50-50 chance of it happening. Nothing fancy...just garbage, towels, soap and toilet paper needs. I realize there are lots of new staff starting but that is only part of a much bigger problem here. ALL staff we met were friendly, kind and I choose to assume did their best. There were very few other guests at the resort despite being spring break so I suppose others knew what we did not. Clearly our expectations were too high. We will not return or recommend Poet's Cove to others. We made the best of it and learned a valuable lesson... Oh and you can get RMT and other spa services on the island at a fraction of the price...just Google it!

I enjoyed my stay with you and would certainly like to do this again. This was a gift from my daughter and son-in-law which was very special to me. Thank You for a very nice birthday and maybe I can do this again next year

Our company rented 7 cottages, and moored five boats. The entire booking process was simple and friendly. The stay itself was lovely. The cottages were beautiful, grounds were beautiful, and the staff were extremely helpful. For twenty people to enjoy themselves for an evening, it was the most ideal setting I could have asked for.

We went to enjoy some family time. This is the perfect place. The location is beautiful and while there isn't much to do in the off season it was just what we want. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions.

I visited this resort with 2 other ladies for our 3rd Annual Weekend Away. One of the gals had stayed before and loved it. We were aware that November is a slow month and ALL the Restaurants are Closed and OK with it. We had a 2 Bedroom With an Ocean View and Hot Tub on our deck. Unfortunately the kitchen was NOT checked before we arrived and quite a few kitchen items were not clean. The furniture needed a cleaning. We did not expect this in a high end Resort. One would expect this type of Resort Crisp & Clean We did enjoy the Hot Tub and the beds were OK. Sorry to say we were all very disappointed and will find it difficult to recommend Poets Cove. Pender Island was a lovely destination full of awesome people.

We had booked the resort and spa few months ahead of time. I was contacted by a Hotel representative in regards to the Restaurants being closed during the time we were headed out there for the long weekend - We got upgraded up to a Cottage! We loved it, so peaceful and quiet. The cottage was warm and cozy because of the fireplace. Plus has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & a kitchen. We stayed for 2 nights. We also went for a hike - recommended for those who love hikes! and a good workout. The closest grocery store is about 15km away, so make sure you grab what you need before coming all the way to the Resort! Definitely very relaxed :)

The website makes this place look better than it is. I booked a cottage with king bed,hot tub and ocean view. Arrived to find my view was of the next suites’ roof and a postcard shot of the water (suite 8). Asked to be moved to another suite, which was a big hassle (suite 2). Once settled in our 3 bedroom king suite with hot tub, the views were amazing and the hot tub was the perfect size. Spa was great too (hot stone massage!!). Was quite surprised to find on arrival that the cafe and Aurora restaurant were already closed for the season. In the last week of September? Lucky for us Sirens pub was open for the week we were there. Food was very good and staff friendly. Housekeeping was mediocre Wouldn’t go again as the overall experience was underwhelming. I’ve paid less money and received better service and amenities at real resorts. To sum up in one word....Meh

What a beauty of a spot !! Great food, nice spa experience and a nice little pool to hang out in the sun. We headed over from Sidney for a night, and had a blast .. we went with friends who have a boat, and it was a great window into how great the west coast can be with access to the water. Once we got there we found our bungalow, and settled in for a relaxing evening with beverages and games. It would have been nice to stay longer !!
