I would never rent this property or one managed by Vrbo again. I was waiting 1.5 hours to enter the condominium, the guard asked me for the condominium #, which was never informed to me, in the lobby they told me that I should have received the # by mail to open the condominium door, which It never happened. I requested it from Vrbo by mail, since they did not answer the phone, and in the chat, they told me that it was a boot, that they could not help me. At the end, the person in the lobby had to call the owner of the condominium by phone to give me the access #. Very bad experience.

My husband and I loved the condo. The host answered all my questions and concerns. Beach chairs, beach toys and pop up tents were included for our use. We had a great vacation!

Everything wrnt well. The host was great and made sure our stay was wonderful. The property was clean and was in a great location, near everything we wanted to be close by too. Ww would eecommend renting from this host for any stay in South Padre.

We had a very enjoyable time despite some unexpected events. The property owner called me the day before the trip to let me that there was a problem with the condo but he had a solution for me. He had gotten in touch with another property owner and offered us another condo on a piece of the property closer to the pool and beach. We had a glorious time. I could see the kids in the pool from the balcony and i had a great view of the ocean. He gave me back one nights stay and promised a free night with my next stay at his condo. That Ross is a great guy and i look forward to spending some time in his condo next time, the balcony furniture looks amazing. Thanks Ross and thanks to the property owners that stepped up at a moment's notice and let us stay at their condo. I highly recommend!!

Overall stay

It was a nice place to stay, but we did notice it didn’t look as clean when we first arrived. The owner got in touch with us as soon as possible and got cleaning people there within the hour. We also ran out of soap and toilet paper, that was a little disappointing. I was overall happy the owner was concerned and helped us get that problem fixed!

Bahia Mar beach front condo

Grounds around the condo are very well kept. Very nice heated pool and hot tubs. Condo had everything needed for a long term stay. Rooms were cleaned prior to our stay but the whole condo could use a thorough cleaning a couple times a year. Shower in the guest bathroom could use an update. Beds are comfortable and overall it’s a nice place to stay.

Beautiful place great location from beach but strict, we were only allowed visitors if it did not exceed your total number of allowed room occupancy no charcoal grilling though offered a propane grill in a designated area .

Get Away

Place was great , great location and easy access to the beach . Condo was as described and was cool after a long day on the beach . We had a little trouble at check in because we were given a code to door but contacted owner and front desk and got it taken care of . Would recommend this place for a great place to stay . 2 pools and hot tubs made it great for the little ones . Overall would definitely stay again

Great Trip

We had a great time at Bahia Mar! The condo is centrally located inside the property with easy access to both pools and the beach. The condo is very clean and the AC unit works great, cooling off the condo very quickly. The entire property is well maintained. It appears they are updating some of the amenities but you do not notice the construction going on. I highly recommend Bahia Mar and this condo.

We had a family getaway scheduled at this property which was unfortunately interrupted due to Hurricane Beryl. We actually didn't get to go to South Padre and were not able to stay at the condo. Contact was made with the property owner who was so kind in working with us. He offered the option to rebook another time; however, the available dates didn't work for us. Therefore, he agreed to refund us our expenses! This was such a relief for us to hear as we were past the cancellation time and we had not purchased insurance. In fact, he told us that the next time we were able to reschedule to please call him directly. In these times, it is not often that you come across individuals who are so accommodating. I guarantee you that whenever we do make it to South Padre we will be booking with this property owner!

Nice location

We enjoyed our stay, beach front property. The kids loved the pool. All was great inside except the pantry was locked & with 3 kids we took plenty of food to store. We had to use the kitchen counter & table to put everything. Make sure you take your own toilet paper & towels, only ones there were on the rollers. Some of the towels were old & yellow instead of white like they should be. The host was fast to respond. Overall it was a great getaway.

Perfect!

This property is cute, cozy and clean! Easy access to the pool and beach, nice view of the ocean from the patio/balcony. Unit is also well kept and fully stocked. My family and I really enjoyed our vacation stay and we look forward to staying here again!

A very nice place!

This is a really nice spot. We got everything we needed for our stay. The unit is clean, upgraded and nicely decorated. The balcony is nicely furnished and it has a small sea view. A quick walk and you are in the beach. The property has 2 swimming pools and a small playground for children under 5 (which we did not use due to the 100+ temperatures). We will definitely return for our next summer vacation!
