This property should not be used until it has updates. The electrical system is very old, plugs won’t stay in, you have to unplug items to not trip a circuit and I felt unsafe. The heating wall gas heating unit did not function and I was very happy to see CO monitors in place. This unit looked like it was from the 40’s. The paint is chipped, there are large chunks of wood missing and an all of the faucets dripped water. This was not the unit I chose at booking but was given to us due to repairs on the original unit. The office, staff and restaurant were outstanding.

This place is nice. We loved the area, loved the property with many greenbelts along the river with places to sit, walk and relax with our 2 dogs. Cabins were very clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely come back but wouldn’t stay in the same cabin again. Our cabin was on the back side of the main building behind the restaurant and workshop area and was loud at times. It was very small and the floor was not level. There was very little sitting space in the cabin. The couch was the smallest I’ve ever seen and did not sit 2 comfortably. I would definitely come back but would call the place directly to book. It was hard to tell which cabin was which in the pics on Expedia. I would ask for cabins on the river side of the road if possible. Place was very dog friendly. Restaurant on site was really good. Gift shop had many nice things in addition to scooped ice cream snacks.

For the price, I thought the place would be a little less rustic. It would have been nice to have more than one key. The view from the back window was beautiful and the best thing about this place is the location, but the room appointments aren't great. There were no lamps besides the overhead and one over the sink and despite a sign asking us to wash dishes upon leaving and put them in the dish drain, there was no dish drain. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Great rural cabin site - close to Creede.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Condition is what is to be expected from Colorado cabins. Dated but clean and comfortable. Booking directly through the Cove may avoid miscommunication as rooms are not always as described on other booking platforms. Would stay again but will contact them directly so we can be more selective on our room choice. Staff was accommodating to make sure we had a room after a few mix ups. Restaurant on site is delicious but $$$ - not your typical roadside cafe.

Very run down. Showed up and they didn’t have our reservation. There was no hot water in our unit because it’s next to the restaurant and the restaurant runs out of hot water mid service. Once they found us a unit it wasn’t cleaned. Had to wait an hour for it to be cleaned
