This is my 2nd time staying at this hotel when visiting family. I could easily stay with them when I’m home, but I chose to stay at The Clover again because my boyfriend and I loved it so much the first time. The king size bed is super comfortable and the breakfast in the morning is great!

Old and run down

Hotel was old and run down and dirty. We went into the bathroom and it had all over the toilet. I even left the soap box they left by the toilet the next day to see if they would notice during clean up and it was left exactly the same. The restaurant service was poor. The girl behind the bar was too busy flirting to help the older gentleman and we ended up waiting almost an hour to get our orders in.

Get what you pay for

Purchased two rooms. Was placed down a hall that was very cold. The room had a heating unit up on the wall, it only blew out cold air. The very nice attendant who moved me down the main hall. Room was very warm but no hot water. The main hallway was very loud with very inconsiderate guest. Walking by rooms can hear anything and everything.

This was a 1 nite stay for family. We requested 2 rooms. There was an initial breakdown in communication with our needs for each room, which took a week to clear up and confirm. After that, everything from checkin, access, meals, and checkout was easy & enjoyable. Next time we are in South Bend, we will definitely return. Thanks!

Room was old and in need of work. No hot water, shower leaked, Heater was really noisy, toilet paper dispenser came right off the wall. Restaurant/bar (one of the main reasons I booked here) wasa CLOSED.

Hotel is nice, a little older but room was clean had 2 double beds. Has a bar and restaurant, the bartender was awesome, very nice, only downside it was closing early or we would have came back. Breakfast was decent.

We had a great stay the staff was friendly and attentive. The heat was broken along with the pool, but they did everything they could to ensure we had what we needed and we had a lovely stay, our room was nice and warm, but the hallways were a bit brisk. :)
