Breakfast was disgusting, egg omelet was black and brown around the edges, yogurt was spoiled, oatmeal had the consistency of paste and terrible taste. Cleaning staff opened our door at 8 am while my wife was taking shower and i was getting dressed. Guy at desk didn't apologize for it or even try to apologize, instead he made excuses why they opened the door. Never going to stay there again. Holiday inn used to be known for being a nice place to stay but not anymore.

Very friendly check-in staff! They were offering free tailgating (burgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks, cookies) to guests because there was a Notre Dame game. We had no idea as we r not football fans & were just passing thru on a cross-country road trip. We didn’t eat the tailgating food (didn’t look too fresh), save for the tasty cookies after a meal out elsewhere but it was a nice surprise. Beds extremely comfortable. Other guests a bit loud till midnight but they were football fans & partying—it was fine. Value for $ was low—I think prices were jacked up due to football game. Also understandable.
