This hotel is in the ideal location. It's a 10 minute walk to the main dock with the boats, smack in the middle of the town center, and close to endless restaurants. Very clean with decent-sized rooms and a pleasant staff. Very useful binder with tons of things to do and places to see while you're in Sorrento. I really enjoyed my stay!
There is avery homely and welcoming feel to this hotel. Location can't be beaten as you are right in the heart of the town. Our room overlooked the shopping walkways, with a Juliet type balcony, where you can take in the vibe of the town. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and basic. Imma is a wonderful hostess who is happy to help with any queries at any time
Lovely people, great service and fantastic location. Very informative of local attractions and have a great folder of information to read of local interests and tours. Loved our relaxing stay, spent afternoons on the terrace before heading out for dinner.
Basic three star hotel with good location (within walking distance from the railway station, marina piccola and marina grande), very nice breakfast terrace and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and there is enough space for the luggages. Lovely view from the roof terrace 😁
I'm so pleased that I booked this hotel for our recent holiday! The location is fantastic- in the historic centre, close to the main square and a short stroll to the train station. Being centrally located I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't- in fact it had a quiet, relaxing feel to it. Our room was spotlessly clean , the staff were very friendly and we liked the breakfast terrace- what a nice place to start the day. My son and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Del Corso and would happily stay there again.
This hotel is very central so excellent location for transport, restaurants, shopping. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and eating on the sunny terrace was great. Very helpful and polite staff made us feel very welcome. Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. Only improvement needed is possibly a mini fridge for storing cold water or drinks in the summer.
The front desk people were very helpful. The hotel is on a main street with lots of restaurants and shopping and very close to the ferry terminal, where you catch the boat to Capri. It was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the first night there was very little hot water. I showered earlier on the second night and there was plenty. I wondered if it was solar heated, but never got around to asking.
This hotel has been my favorite hotel in the 16 cities I have been in Italy!! Quaint and perfect setting. The owner Imma and her husband Luca are awesome!! If you enjoy Italian cuisine I recommend you take a cooking class from Imma a master chef and celebrity chef in Italy. She always has a wonderful smile on her face and is exceptionally helpful, as is her staff!!
This hotel may have basic rooms with the bare essentials but it is clean and tidy. Furnishings aren't amazing but they also aren't run down in any way. The bathroom is clean and a good size, our room also had a little indoor terrace area with windows that opened to look above the houses onto the bay. The breakfast has a really nice selection but the serving room is very narrow and hard to navigate when full. There is a washing machine and dryer which makes long trips really easy. There is also a common area on every floor but the hotel echoes and rooms are not sound proof so be careful of how loud you are in all areas of the hotel. To be honest the selling point for this hotel is the staff. They are absolutely amazing people! Not only are they friendly, they are also knowledgable with the ability to book tours with the oldest tour company in Sorrento. We went on a tour with them to Pompeii and Herculaneum which was awesome with only 20 people and an amazing guide. They also recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner that had so many choices but you could also chose between the light of heavy menus (different rooms). We were greeted with a smile every time and couldn't have felt more at home. I highly recommend this hotel! As another plus it is very close to the main town square, the marina, the parking area for tours, the train station and a great gelato place.
Adequate hotel in the middle of Sorrento. Friendly, nice room and quiet. Breakfast just rather bland .......a typical buffet with the sort of croissants out of a cheap supermarker packet , rather than bought in a local shop. Sorrento beautifullu situated, but full of middle aged clothes shops, rather over-rated.
