The best hotel I have been in! To begin with the reception was candid Then our room had a very high window, approximately 14 feet high, super elegant, overlooking the ocean The ceiling was gloriously high, about 24 feet. We now appreciate that the dimensions of the room and the windows soothing and comforting and maybe even lifted our worries away. The restaurant terrace was also magnificent. There are only 4 rooms!! I know we will be back, even if just to stay in that glorious room!
This hotel is at a great location. Right on the water with a great view. Breakfast was great every morning. The hotel staff were really friendly. The only issue was the bed. It was just right for me but a little hard for my wife. But we loved our time here and loved the restful location.
Excellent location, excellent morning buffet everyday, excellent service from Donatella who works the buffet. Now I see why everyone is always raving about her. All 5 stars from me, would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
We stayed in the upgraded view room. The room is a stand alone building and it’s round, sort of like a light house. You walk in and the bed is downstairs and upstairs is the bathroom. The issue is with the bathroom. There are no windows up there nor ac so it was extremely humid, smelly, and just overall not enjoyable. The only way to the toilet is through the shower... which didn’t drain properly so you have to walk through a sopping wet shower to get to the toilet that smells like sewage. The sewage smell was quite unpleasant in the entire room which led us to buy a candle in the town and burn it to cover the smell. It didn’t work. Beautiful view and room. Smelly and muggy. I’d take a mediocre room for one that feels and smells nice any day. Just my honest opinion
