Well about the property is excellent the only thing I complain about the room where I stayed with I think the air conditioning did not work well

El hotel esta algo viejo, se podia ver en la estructura de los baños, lo unico es que estuve 2 dias y no me limpiaron el cuarto.

Had a couple of beverages in the restaurant and it was very nice. The staff at check-in and check-out were great. The room was pretty nice, and the bed was quite comfortable with plenty of pillows. You can tell in some places that it's definitely an older property, but apparently they're in the middle of renovating different areas of it. Should be really nice by the spring and summer.

We were excited to see that the hotel was reopened. The property claimed newly renovated, after being closed for a couple years. The only thing renovated was the lobby area and restaurant. The restaurant did not serve breakfast and we had to drive for breakfast. The wi-fi was VERY SLOW. the furniture was at east 20 years old. Even with a king sized room, there was no dresser. The clothes had to be put in the night stand drawers. And there were only three hangers. Very disappointing. Never again

I discovered the Solomon’s Island area from a Fox 5 DC travel segment and chose this hotel based on top area hotel searches. While the property is decent, it didn’t meet my expectations from the Expedia photos. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, with some areas looking dated and more like a motel than a resort. Room appliances are awkwardly placed, and TV entertainment is limited to streaming apps, which isn’t ideal for all guests. Several outlets and lights didn’t work, and charging devices was inconvenient. Overall, the hotel isn’t fully ready and seems to be renovating without clear progress checkpoints. This said, the hotel staff were great and very accomodating to request and inquiries. Also, the fitness ctr. had just enough to keep up with your workout routine, and the newly renovated restaurant and outside bar were very nice. We really enjoyed bartendars Julie and Avrey.

This place is great! I heard it had been closed for awhile for remodeling and although the structure is the same the inside was fabulous. New, clean, beds were very comfortable,. They went out of the way to accommodate us. The only thing was, in our room we must have been by the air conditioning or washing room as it was loud and sounded like the washing machine was running all night so I kept waking up but other than that - yes, I would definitely stay here again.

Not sure why the call it a Resort. Pool wasn't open as advertised. Breakfadt in packages and internet not reliable. Looks like they are remodling 1st floor but rooms, furniture and bathroom are worn and need upgrading.

The man at the desk was exceptionally nice, offered us an upgrade to our room and gave my son a toy. The room was clean, the bedding, comfortable, and there was some great options for breakfast. I would definitely go back!

Wouldn’t stay again

The lobby looks great and a lot of breakfast options for free. However the rooms have been updated but not the hallways, elevators or carpet. They allow animals so there was a barking dog all hours of the night and the room smelled terrible. The cleaning person came in and took the trash and gave new towels but didn’t make the beds ? When asked was told they were already gone for the day. The second day a young man was cleaning the rooms and he was not wearing any type of uniform and appeared very very young. He had 3-4 carat of cleaning stuff and carts etc in the hall most of the day right near my room so I could hear his conversations and music.

My staff was really with the exception of one staff member who seemed to just give EVERYONE a hard time. He was wrong with some of the procedures of the hotel and his body language and gestures were sort of unpleasant. He was kind of a larger guy with glasses , looked a little older than other staff members. Everyone else I encountered were wonderful to us and other guests.
