Sheets didn’t fit the bed which meant we could see the very stained mattress. Toilet was coming off the tile. Bathroom was not completely clean. One elevator was not working and the other took a very long time to move around.
Room location was next to elevator, walls paperthin and way too noisy. Toilet was running all the time and had issues.
Wish there was a bike trail or beach nearby or more activities in general.
I have stayed here many times and could use updates. Dirty, smells and the staff is a bit lost.

Staying here was not a good experience. After driving 5 hours we arrive to find a filthy bath towel stuffed in the freezer of the refrigerator, clock beside bed was 3 hours fast, and dirty to the touch. Shower curtain kept getting water on the floor with no extra towels, air conditioner ran very loud at times, and mattress pad and bottom sheet would not stay on bed. I would not stay here again.
The hotel overall was great with friendly front desk service. We wanted a room with a view of the water front, but it was not available, which is OK. We were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic continental breakfast that was included.
Staff was accomodating. Lobby seemed a bit utilitaian. Appeared to have a nice restaurnat overlooking the water, though I did not eat there. My room was quite comfortable, and I had a lovely view overlooking the marina. (though I doubt that all rooms would have as nice a view.)
Overall, the hotel was nice. The pool was very refreshing, especially with the poolside waitress service. However, you might want to order 2 drinks at a time as you may go thirsty waiting for the server to come back. The rooms were clean, but the bed was too soft for my personal comfort.
The hotel was okay. Nothing special. They do advertise a shuttle, but there isn't a hotel shuttle. It is local people who may or may not be available for transport.
A quick get-away for 1 night. Large pool, nice gym, decent rooms. Family with 2 boys. All had fun. The location is close to the pier area of Solomas Island.
The positives: Entire staff was very friendly, helpful, enjoyable. The hotel's setting is beautiful marina and backwater behind the buildings. Negatives: Older hotel (could use some updating), room on first floor in the back was musty and damp feeling, and the bottom of the tub/shower was slick. Thanks goodness for the grab bar! Will probably try another hotel the next time I visit family in Solomons.
We got there and they let us check in an hour early. When we got to our room there was no hand soap. They said they didn't have any because it was Memorial Day weekend. The lady went and found us 1 bar. There were only 2 towels in the room and we had to ask for more. They said there was WiFi, but we couldn't get on the internet. When we asked they said they are upgrading and only some of the rooms had it. The business center computers were really slow and it took forever to print our boarding passes. The beds were supposed to be queen and the were only double beds. There were pieces of wood sticking out from the frame of the bed. They moved the bride to a different room and I couldn't find her and the front desk couldn't tell me which room she was in. The room was very nice and clean. The crib for the baby was also nice.
We had a great afternoon at the pool, with excellent drink service. It was also only a mile or so to walk to Solomon Island in the evening, though it would have been good if there were more pathways. The rooms were a good size and in good condition. We only stayed for one night but wish it had been longer. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a break down in southern Maryland.
The hotel was nice and in a good location. we had a nice view of the marina and within walking distance to shops and some fast-food. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I would skip the breakfast buffet!!
