We had a great time! Family with 5 and 7 yo kids. Beach is great with fish around easily to spot. Food is good

I didnt care for the beach access.

Our overall stay for a week was good. The first thing we noticed was the strong smell that came from All the seaweed in the water. The smell was overbearing on the Catalonia side, but barely noticiable on the riviera side. The pools were clean and fun; especially the water dancing and activities. The buffet and restaurants were great! They had so many options and the food is so tasty. I would give our stay a 7/10. The entertainment was pleasing. The rooms are small and the AC was okay.

The property is awesome great value for the money, food was good staff was awesome (except for the a lying ones trying to sell you their membership) only down side is the beach that is very ugly for Cancun/riviera maya standards other then that the resort is awesome

The resort is beautiful, has lots to do and is close to xcaret Park and the staff here is amazing

Great service and staff. Food was average but plentiful and varied. This is an older resort that shows it’s age in spots but cleanliness was outstanding. Great pool activities staff one of the better we have seen.

Covid testing is 22$ and only from 9-11 am so book early the little pools that’s off the balcony need to be re done but other wise kids club was nice my kids loved it the outside pools are nice and the food variety is very little only one restaurant open and the “ seafood “ restaurant had one seafood salad so I should of just picked the steak restaurant if you are with your kids the place is great w the girls or a couples trip go else where

Service was terrible 😑

Hotel is managed very poorly. Check in process was a nightmare. Had to wait almost 3 hours after check in time to get a room. Check in clerk asked us to wait, then left. Food was less than average.

there are a few things that I feel should be known when someone is going into booking this location. First, the good.. The hotel is nice. When you walk in you immediately feel comfortable and like you’re in a nice resort. On top of the good aesthetic, the staff is very friendly, so that also is welcoming. When it comes to the food and drinks included with the “all inclusive” it is really at the top of my list in terms of these types of resorts I’ve been to. You can’t expect 5 star food at an all inclusive, but nonetheless, the food was more than bearable for 4 days. The drinks, always made quickly and well. Great service from all of the bar staff. Entertainment was awesome. Around the clock options when it comes to this. Whether it’s staff doing things around the pool, or shows in the theatre, there is always something if you’re looking. Now a couple down spots... For starters, this is a big resort, so it is very difficult to find a pool or beach spot to lay out at or put your stuff down at. The disco that is mentioned as being on site, isn’t as expected. It’s more of a lobby bar/dance floor as opposed to an actual building/room like I’ve seen in the past. This last part is the main reason for my review being low. The beach. FILLED with seaweed leaving the water basically non swimmable. They make a slight effort to clean it, but it doesn’t work at all. You get a constant bad smell. If you don’t like beaches or open space, this won’t matter.

The property is outdated and needs a complete make over. We had booked 3 separate rooms, one of the rooms had a broken door latch lock and phone. The rooms had a damp and moldy smell. The food at the buffets was less than acceptable. In order to get a reservation for the a la carte restaurants for a reasonable dinner time you will need to book as soon as you arrive. We stayed a total of 4 nights and we were only able to make reservations for 2 of those nights at the a la carte restaurants. I've stayed at other all inclusives and the buffets stayed open all day, the buffets were only open for a couple of hours for breakfast, then would close. Also, the website says there are tennis courts and golf available. There is one tennis court and when they say golf, it was a mini golf course and both were on the roof top of one of the buildings. Also the red seaweed was a huge issue. We only had one good beach day to actually go in the water. The resort had 2 men raking the seaweed. There is no way that these 2 men could keep up with the seaweed or clean it all up. The resort must find another process to help eliminate the seaweed. There was so much of it in the water, there was no way anyone could swim in the water. Lounge chairs also need to be cleaned and updated. Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone, book some place else.

EVERYONE WAS GREAT..EACH TIME WE ENCOUNTERED A STAFF MEMBER THEY GREETED US..SOME OF THE NICEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD. THE ANIMATION TEAM ON THE RESORT IS AMAZING AND KEEPS EVERYONE ENTERTAINED THE KID'S CLUB STAFF MEMBERS ARE AMAZING AS WELL .... I REALLY DIDN'T LIKE THE TIME LOST MAKING RESERVATIONS FOR DINNER ...BUT LET' ME SAVE YOU SOME TIME... THE BEST RESTAURANTS ARE THE MEXICAN RESTAURANT & THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT THE SPANISH RESTAURANT IS OK DEPENDING ON YOUR EATING STYLE... BELOVED WAS OK.... THE BUFFETT RESTAURANT'S ARE BOTH GREAT I LOVE THE VARIETY OF FRESH FRUIT & THE JUICE BARS....GOOD BREAKFAST!!!!& LUNCH... PLEASE GET TO THE POOL EARLY TO PUT YOUR TOWELS OUT ON THE CHAIRS OR YOU WILL NOT HAVE A SPOT... BUT THE POOLS ..SWIMUP BARS..ETC ARE AMAZING IF YOU HAVE A STANDARD ROOM ID HIGHLY RECOMMEND UPGRADING TO THE PRIVELEDGED SUITE..IT COMES WITH SO MANY MORE UPGRADES..ROOM COMFORT AND SPACE..FULLY STOCKED MINI FRIDGE WITH WATERS.CORONAS.& SOFT DRINKS ALSO YOU GET TO HAVE UNLIMITED ROOM SERVICE 24/7 & IF YOU ORDER BREAKFAST FOR ROOM SERVICE YOU HAVE TO DO IT A DAY PRIOR ...THIS IS REQUIRED FOR BREAKFAST ONLY... BE SURE TO WALK DOWN TO THE MIRENA AREA...LOTS OF OUTSIDE WATERFRONT RESTAURANTS...DOLPHINS..GIFT SHOPS ETC..... BEAUTIFUL VIEW'S OF YACHTS ETC....IF YOU WANT TO GET OFF THE RESORT FOR A FEW HOURS....

The property was gorgeous tropical and very well manicured. The beach was absolutely awful because of the Sargassum. Felt sorry for the staff that worked all day pitch forking the stinking dried seaweed and weren't getting anywhere with their clean up . We we're told about the sargassum problem after we booked our trip but didn't except it to be that bad. Felt very sorry for people that had taken up to 14 hour flights to get to Riviera Maya and didn't know anything about the sargassum problem they were very disappointed. I know this is caused by mother nature but if the problem continues like it has it must be mentioned on all resort, hotel, condos any rental accommodations. Do not agree at all with your Priveleged and Exclusive parts of your resort. Moving the priveleged beach to where the nice beach is for people who paid more money and leaving the horrible beach for the regular guests is inexcusable under the circumstances of your beach problem.

Rooms could use a facelift, but very clean. Always had hot water and good water pressure in the shower. Need more pool and beach chairs. Staff was Excellent!

The trip did not start on a positive note. We were placed in a run down room with a view of a hot dog cart just feet away from tables full of smokers. After complaining to the front desk, we were moved to a nicer room near the rest of our friends. Pros - walkable location to marina, friendly valet staff and snorkeling from beach. Cons - no designated smoking areas...people were smoking all over the property, the food was mediocre (more on that later), the nicer rooms are located at the back of the property furthest from the water with views of the street or concrete walls, and very loud music until late into the night. Back to the food...Do Not eat the uncooked tomatoes. I suffered two bouts of food poisoning after eating in the onsite Italian restaurant and the buffet. Needless to say I won't return to this resort.

The good: staffs are great, courteous loved the mini club did various fun activities with my seven year old. Entertainment is also great day and night. The bad: as soon as you walk to the lobby the appearance looks like a cheap motel and so is the room, old and outdated. Foods and drinks are terrible, you pretty get the same food for breakfast and at the snack bar everyday. Seafood restaurant not included. Pools and beach are dirty full of rocks. I've been to so many resorts and they were excellent but this oneIis by far the worst I honestly couldn't wait to go back home.
