The hotel I booked is nothing compared to what was advertised online. The room is filthy and unsanitary, and I have encountered what appear to be bed bugs in the beds—this is a serious health concern. On top of that, the refrigerator does not work, which is unacceptable as I am traveling with an infant and need proper storage for breast milk. I was forced to search the property for ice, only to find that two out of three ice machines are out of service.
I was also given the wrong room. I reserved and paid for a one king bed but was instead placed in a room with two queen beds. Check-in itself took approximately 15 minutes, and the overall level of service has been extremely poor. At one point, I observed staff asleep in the back, which is completely unprofessional.
The conditions have made it impossible for my family to rest. I can clearly hear the people next door having sex, to the point where my bed was physically shaking from the disturbance. I had no choice but to turn the TV volume all the way up just so my children would not hear what was going on. This is beyond inappropriate and completely unacceptable for any guest, especially a family with a newborn and a 5-year-old.
Additionally, the shower water pressure is extremely poor, making basic use difficult.
This stay has been unsafe, unsanitary, and nowhere near what was promised. I expect a FULL reimbursement for this stay immediately. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be escalating this issue through
