The cabin was absolutely perfect. They thought of everything. We woke up every morning to deer playing and a quiet peaceful trip. Owner was super helpful with lots of recommendations for the area too! Would definitely stay again. It was tough to leave and go back to real life.

Absolutely perfect cabin on the woods
We loved our recent stay and will definitely be back based on proximity to bethel woods! The cabin was perfect- just as described and in wonderfully wooded, private area. The owners thought of EVERYTHING to make us comfortable- coffee, kitchen staples and snacks- toiletry bags in case we forgot anything and so much more. The cabin has so many things we noted were often missing in the best hotels - like great lighting in bathrooms and hand held shower, separate towels for make up removal and super comfy beds. We didn’t have chance to use fire pit in backyard but definitely will next time. And the owners were super helpful with everything - before, during and after our stay. Really a 5 star experience!
The perfect getaway. Everything was exactly as peaceful as advertised and more. Winter is extremely quiet and cozy. All of which was made even better by the amenities provided within the renovated cabin itself. New and clean pots and pans are in the cabinets. Tea and small snacks (especially for s’mores) were an excellent surprise as well. Fresh towels and other amenities were all also taken care of. The heat worked fantastically even in the dead of winter. Look out your back window and you see nothing but beautiful forest (and almost certainly some friendly deer). The cabin’s hosts were extremely helpful and clear in checking in/checking out—not to mention the generous list of activities they provided for fun and dining around the area. It’s hard to find a true getaway quite like this one. I’m certainly glad I did.
This is a cozy and newly renovated cabin in quiet Smallwood. It sits at the end of a quiet dead end road so deer and birds are your neighbors. It's the perfect getaway, and the colors in October were just perfect. Communication from the hosts was immediate and continued through out. They truly want you to enjoy the cabin, and are always available! They offered lots of restaurant/eating suggestions, and places to visit. We were happy to realize how close were were to the site of Woodstock 1969. This place adds plenty of little extras to make you feel at home. The kitchen is well stocked and offers things like coffee pods for the Keurig, paper towels, and ingredients for making s'mores over the campfire. We were sad we didn't have the time to enjoy a bonfire, but fire wood is supplied as well. The kitchen is ready for cooking, just bring your ingredients. The two bathrooms were nice to have, and there was plenty of hot water for showers.
