Had dinner last Friday 2nd February 2018 in Jack B's bar in the Sligo Park Hotel before the wonderful show performed by the Willoughby Brothers. The bar was very clean and inviting. The menu had a good array of choices to suit all tastes. My daughter and I both opted for the fish - haddock if I remember correctly and it was accompanied by chips and pureed peas and side salad. My daughter had the soup to start which she said was very good. We also had dessert - sticky toffee pudding. Unfortunately, I was not able to finish this as I was very full after the dinner. The meal was hot and served very promptly even though there was a good crowd in the bar most I would think having a meal before the show. Could not fault the meal in any way. The fish was in a light batter and the chips were not greasy or stodgy. Everything was piping hot with very good portion servings. The dessert was also delicious and again there was a choice of three desserts. We enjoyed a few drinks as well and the staff beyond the bar and on the floor were very pleasant. It was a good dining experience and one I hope I can enjoy again when next in Sligo.

Very good in every way, excellent rooms , a lot of channels on tv, all working, great breakfast , only complaint is breakfast ends at 10am yet when we got there the was a waiting list , people on a break would like a lie in, so that my fault , otherwise very good

Stayed in this hotel on business. It was a typical standard stay. The room was clean and staff very friendly. The breakfast was the standard pre cooked buffet style breakfast. There wasnt a great gluten free selection and no homemade brown bread. The bar food was nice and good value for money. There was lots of car parking. The leisure centre was clean and the underfloor heating in the dressing rooms was nice. However there was nothing special that made my stay in this hotel stand out from other weekly hotel stays.

Stayed here Sept last on a 3 night Seniors break, enjoyed it so much that extended it to 4 and then 5 nights xcellent and very comfortable room and good spacious public areas. Great leisure facilities..Food very good and all staff very friendly and helpful. Will certainly re visit

Stayed here to attend a conference, reserved the room on its website on the day of arrival, it was cheaper than any of the search engines, even for a Wednesday in January the price was very reasonable. Payment wasn't taken from card as it usually upon booking which I was happy to see and there was also free cancellation up to 48 hours before stay (this did not affect me in this case but good to see). Arrived late so did not see much of the hotel itself and did not use the leisure centre however the lady at reception was very welcoming, check in and check on the following day was very straightforward and hasslefree. I had a continental breakfast which was relatively basic but fine, there was a cooked breakfast buffet as well, service was very quick with tea/coffee. Room was lovely and clean, bed very comfortable. TV remote was faulty (wouldn't scroll down through the channells) and the tv sound quality was terrible, also there was no socket for the phone charger next to the bed as is the case in most hotels, but on the plus side the room had a steam iron and its own board which is always a plus in my mind and the iron actually worked very well for a hotel! Shower was lovely and powerful. Room temperature was perfect and so I did not have to go fiddling with radiators or thermostats which is often the case. The location is a bit out of the town centre, however as I was attending an event in the hotel itself it suited me fine. Didnt use the internet though the code was on the key card which was very handy. Overall very happy with my stay and would certainly recommend it and stay there again.

excellent hotel great friendly staff and food was lovely very busy but staff in bar excellent we really enjoyed our stay lovely view of mountains and even the sea in the distance. we were offered tea scones on arrival which was a lovely touch

My wife stayed for a 4 night Christmas package stay in the Sligo Park hotel. The staff were very efficient and friendly especially Helen on reception who was very efficient and courteous with all our requirements. The food in the restaurant was excellent as were the staff who were very friendly and helpful. Having spoken to a lot of the guests who were like us staying there for the few days at Christmas I was surprised at the number of guests who had been back to the hotel for Christmas on a number of occasions, some for their eight and ninth visit, which is always a good recommendation for the hotel. Myself and my wife went to Christmas day Mass in Sligo Cathedral which was wonderful. However, on returning to the hotel for Christmas festivities, I was a little sad to see that some of the older people who were not very mobile who I am sure would have liked to attend their own Christmas religious ceremonies, but maybe if the hotel could run a coach to facilitate these people, maybe for a small fee, I am sure they would appreciate same. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a visit at Christmas or at any other time. Michael & Joan Daly,Dublin

My wife and I stayed for a 3 night Christmas package here at the Sligo Park Hotel We found the front desk staff very friendly and they gave us a warm welcome. We upgraded to a superior room. When we checked into our room to our surprise we found a nice box of chocolates on our bed compliments of the management. This was a lovely gesture. We also got complimentary water during our stay. We found the room large, warm and very comfortable with a king sized bed. We had a wee problem with our flat screen tv, but the housekeeper replaced it with another tv for us immediately, We dined in the Restaurant. The food was delicious and the breakfast was also very good. We found the restaurant staff very pleasant and helpful. There was entertainment on each evening. The man singing was good and had a good repitoir, but I felt perhaps they should have organised something different For Christmas night. That is my own personal view. Overall we enjoyed our stay and without any hesitation we will come back to this hotel soon. Beiing a Tour Guide and Promoter, I will be recommending the Sligo Park Hotel & Leisure Centre to my future clients.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 very young children stayed at the Sligo Park Hotel last week. The service and welcome we received was fantastic. We were well looked after and the staff were very helpful, polite and unobtrusive. Our kids loved the pool area and also loved the evening movie which allowed us to have a peaceful meal in the restaurant. Nothing was an issue and the check in and out was very efficient. The rooms were well turned out and very comfortable and quiet. We will be returning to this family friendly hotel and would highly recommend it for all purposes.

Had a mid week break here with my 6 year old daughter we really enjoyed our stay . My daughter spent majority of the time in the pool and dinner and breakfast were great even being vegan didn't pose a problem I was catered for which was a big bonus for me as a lot of places see it as a major issue . I highly recommend this hotel big thumbs up👍
