it was a one night anniversary break and following a brief mention of this fact on booking we had been upgraded to a junior suite when we arrived. the suite was beautiful with its own siting area as well as all you would need in a bed room. There was also a plate of delicious petit fours. We enjoyed the Leisure Centre, a bracing walk in Rosses Point and a leisurely breakfast. Even in 5 star hotels I had failed to get proper hard poached eggs until here in the Radisson Blu. The receptionist on departure could not have done more . We got great facilities, great service and great value. We will definitely be back and have already highly recommended the hotel to others
Having been given a gift of a 2 night stay via Groupon in the Raddison my wife and I went drove a fairly long journey looking forward to a restful stay and it was perfect. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were finished to a high standard. We used the leisure pool and jacuzzi etc and it was very relaxing. We would highly recommend The Radisson Blu and if a deal is on we would return in a few months. It was €129 for the two of us bed and breakfast and the breakfast was substantial. We also had a meal and it was just ok though we ate out the second night and the food and value was much better. Taking in a 8 hour return drive from home it was worth the drive on the deal. However at full price we would hop on a plane for a few nights in the Sun. I guess I’m saying to the hotel and all other hotels in Ireland keep the deals coming and people will take you up.
The significant other and I enjoyed a very comfortable spacious room and warm welcome from Patricia at reception. Nice sauna and steamroom in cozy area. Breakfast good but slightly uncomfortable to navigate through the compactly placed tables. Beautiful views of nature. Will visit again. Thanks guys.
10/10 for service and value for money. I would highly recommend the Radisson Blu hotel to friends and family. I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Many thanks to all of the team there, you are doing a great job!
Our group enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Blu, Sligo. The rooms were a fair size, the beds were comfortable, and the toiletries included shampoo and conditioner. There is a little out of the way computer area for guests to use on a lower level. Meals were ok, for both breakfast and dinner with buffet selections set out for each group - I think I would have preferred a regular buffet that was replenished over this since we ran out of a few selections. The views around the hotel are absolutely amazing - from both front and back, with sitting areas throughout so you can relax and enjoy. The hotel is located a short distance out of town, but you can easily take some country-side strolls around the area.
Two night stay in Radisson Blu Sligo Nice hotel and location Meal in bar was disappointing on first night with a very limited choice On Saturday night the meal in the restaurent was excellent and had great service from the friendly waiter Liviu Pity his attention to detail and professionalism was not reflected in reception
My husband and I have just spent three nights here on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package. The hotel is bright and spacious - our Standard room on ground floor was quiet and spotlessly clean. Mattresses very comfortable, tv decent size, lots of room. Dinner menu is imaginative and everything was carefully cooked and presented and really delicious. Breakfast choice extensive and equally good. The staff in all cases could not have been more courteous or helpful, especially Simon, who is a mine of information on local attractions. Alex always served us with a smile. Thoughtful touches were an amuse bouche of yummy soup before main course and newspapers a plenty. The hotel is nicely positioned between Sligo town and Rosses Point. Glencar waterfall is a must. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the break and hope to return on a similar package which is fantastic value for us golden oldies!
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities with great gym, pool and spa. The refurbished rooms were very comfortable. The new lay out of the bar which had only been newly renovated was modern and fresh. The breakfast was varied and should cater for every taste. The bar food was also excellent and tasty with great customer friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Have just had another excellent stay a Radisson Ble Sligo. From check in to check out we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfasts evening meal and Sunday lunch were very good. to have been given an upgrade to Business class room was a lovely gesture. Large spacious room with large comfortable bed' Room and bathroom very clean. The food was as always very nice well presented and tasty.
All staff were very polite and helpful. One improvement which probably happens in all hotels, would be to train staff to 'put' bottles into the bottle bin, not throw them in, the noise of this in a quiet relaxing bar area does interrupt conversations?
