Relaxing Lake Home

The Birch Bark Bungalow is located in Six Lakes, Michigan and is the perfect relaxation destination. It located directly on Indian Head Lake which is a private lake and less than a half mile to the public access of Lake Montcalm which is a public lake. There is great fishing on our lake and several areas of state land close by for hunting, snowmobiling, skiing and several other outdoor activities. The home also has a vacant lot on both sides so that you can also have some privacy. Sit at the table or out on the deck and watch the amazing wildlife on the lake. The basement is not fully finished but is a great area to hang out and play games. For those they still need to stay connected, we have wireless internet and a smart TV that hangs above the electric fireplace. This makes a great getaway for those who want to work remotely. All the convenience of home without all of the stress.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a fireplace, and a coffee maker.

Great little cabin!

We just spent a weekend for a girls trip and loved the little cabin on the lake! Clean, comfortable, easy access and perfect location for the event we attended! Loved the little deck off the back. We would definitely book again!

Home is bigger than it looks from the pictures. It is right on the lake, but far enough down to it to make it a nice little walk. Nice view of the lake from the upper deck. Property is nicely supplied, and easy to check in.

Cute little bungalow on Indian Head Lake

Loved this little cottage. It was very clean, and a fawn and her two does greeted us upon arrival. The host answered all my questions promptly. Very peaceful and serene location. If you love wildlife and just want to relax, book your stay. I highly recommend.

Family visit

Looked for a place to stay for a family wedding. What a wonderful surprise to find this charming cabin! We were minutes from family and all the festivities. The cabin was clean and very comfortable with beautiful lake views. Played a few games in the rec area downstairs. As will happen on occasion during stormy weather, we lost power. Fortunately the cabin is stocked with plenty of candles and a flashlight. We are looking forward to future stays when we visit family.

Secluded area, quiet, cute bungalow

Check in was very quick and easy.Stayed for 2 nights with my fiance and 8 month old. Master bed was very comfortable. I had to move the bed to the wall to fit a standard pack n play in the room with us. Very well kept. Decorated nicely to fit the woods location. Electric Ceasars fireplace was pretty neat. My daughter loved the different colors. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook. All cast iron pans. Steak came out great. Little electric stove. Needed new burners. When showering noticed an egg smell, anod rod out needed possibly my plumber fiance said. Beautiful scenery when out on the back deck. The little lake is probably 100 feet out, right off the property. Can't access the end of the deck due to some of it being under water/sunken.Not easy to fish off of due to only shallow water access/ swamp area inland. Hosts were quick to respond when I didn't look well enough for the wifi password that is located in the living room bar area. I have Verizon and had a bad signal. So definitely appreciated the wifi. Great stay. Would recommend.
