Clean and updated older facility. Great breKfast assortment. Friendly and responsive staff.

Stopped to overnight on the way through Sioux City. Check-in was delayed somewhat by a computer vs. operator glitch, but the desk clerk, a very nice young man, apologized several times. Otherwise, the hotel was nice, clean, and perhaps a notch above your usual mid-budget stopover.

Sheets not changed. Smoke filled rooms. Phone did not work. Moved to different hotel!

You only had parking for single vehicles I was in a pickup with a trailer and no place to park

We had stayed at this hotel before. This stay was a little disappointing. While the room was fine. there were some other issues. This is a no smoking hotel. however, some guest were either smoking in the hall ways or in their rooms. We could smell the cigarette smoke in our room. The parking lot is not big enough. The sign at the bottom of the driveway says no large trucks. on our first night a large construction vehicle was parked in lot and took up four parking places. The door on the west exit (ground floor) was not working properly. When we exited the door was propped open. This is a security issue. They did have a sign regarding that parts were on order to fix the door. I can only imagine when that will happen!!! On the second morning when we exited the lobby the manager (we believe that who it was) was yelling at one of the front desk staff members. This is bad form. If a manager has issues with a staff member they should be dealt with in private not where the public can hear and see.

It was a short stay but most was good for me. Seemed pretty clean but could use a few minor repairs. Room was comfortable and had everything I needed for this trip. Staff was friendly and helpful.

wonderful hotel. made our first trip down to visit our son in college just perfect!

We were in Sioux City to go to a show. The guest clerk was very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The full hot breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms were clean and pleasant. The breakfast was very average. Since we were there for a family Christmas we weren't in the hotel much over the two days we were there. However, overall it was a good bargain.

The room was clean & the bed comfortable however the manager & staff couldn't think outside the box. Our toilet was backing up shortly after we got there so we reported it. The response from the staff was that if we needed to use a toilet we could use the lobby one. We were on the second floor, with no elevator, so we had to walk down to the lobby to use the toilet there. We kept asking the staff when it would be fixed & they had no idea. They should have offered us a different room but didn't think outside the box. The manager also had no idea how to help the situation either. 8 hours later we just checked out & left.

Conveniently located. Quiet with a good breakfast.

The policy of Holiday Inn Express to allow pets is great! When given a choice, we will always pick this chain.

i have stayed there before and always try to stay at holiday inn express whenever i do travel. pet friendly hotel is always good.

The best value I could find in the area. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel was relatively newer. We would stay there again.

I was pleasently surprised with the size of the room and its cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a hound dog. The breakfast offered each morning was more than ample-fresh and healthy. The desk staff were very friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them. I don't know about an exercise room or such because I was out with friends most of the two days I was there. I was only in the hotel to sleep. I left Sunday morning. I didn't know what to expect but I was quite pleased with the experience. Yes, I would return.
