Convenient (both location: near highway and facility to parking), friendly staff, good value
Hotel was ok. Nothing special. Very basic. When checking in, the person at the front desk was extremely short and not friendly at all. He came out of the back room wearing headphones and wore them the entire time he was checking me in. His behavior was like I was interrupting him. Other than that the hotel was fine.
There is a nightclub close by that played music so loud that we could not sleep until it stopped at 2am. Unacceptable! The staff did not offer to move us into a quieter room or offer any discount. We will never stay here again.

I work just south of Moffet and this place is a decent place given the out of control hotel rates in the bay area now. It is located rigth off of the highway but the building is perpendicular and I have had no noise with traffic. I have heard people complain about the "bar" next door, but I have stayed 2 or 3 times in the last few months and have never had an issue. I stay during the week so maybe a weekend issue. Rooms are clean. No frills, but fits the bill of a business traveler who doesn't spend much time in the room.
I was led astray! I booked this hotel with the understanding that it was only 1.4 miles from Shoreline amphitheater . It was NOT walking distance..perhaps IF I was a crow!!!! Had to take a cab...was charged$30 each way on top of high charge of hotel. I would NOT recommend this property. NOT a great neighborhood either!

I stayed here to go to a conference as it was the only place that had a reasonable cost. Now I know why. First for a hotel with no shuttle, you would think they would know more about the public transportation. Sending me to the web site??? Don't you think I already tried that?? So is there public transportation from this hotel to Shoreline??? I guess I will never know. Even googlemaps has me walking to shoreline using the walking trail before I can catch a bus to my destination. Then WiFi. How horrible. Even from the business center, it took me 15 minutes just to bring up the browser and other 15 minutes to go to the airline site to print my boarding pass. From my laptop. The WiFi was really slow.... On the brighter side. The breakfast was acceptable but not great. Scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage depending on the day. Bread, bagels, waffle, juice, coffee, tea and fresh fruit. That is about it. Not the hotels fault, but the cab service is just awful. Always 10 - 20 minutes late. Having a shuttle to nearby places really would be nice.
Great access to NASA AMES. Has all the expected amenities. Expensive for what you get but the same can be said of all the hotels in this area.
