This vacation rental was wonderful! Excellent communication from the owner and very easy access to beaches, attractions, and surrounding towns. Everything was clean and comfortable. Great amenities with beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, towels, etc. We were able to just show up and relax!! We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property was so close to the ocean,just a short walk.. Beautiful and in the prettiest neighborhood. Friendly and the condo was perfect and one of the cleanest and im looking forward to next years Birthday so i can book a stay at Seista Keys.. Thank you for one of the best Birthday

Siesta Key

Accommodations were as listed. Property was very clean and well appointed. The beach was just across the street. (Which as a side street wasn’t busy at all). Restaurants were a short walk and if one wished to go to the village, there were a couple “free” options available. Manager Dan was always prompt responding to inquires. I will definitely consider staying here on my next visit!!!

Great stay

Great stay, Property manager was great and got back to text in timely manner. Walls were paper thin, could hear the neighbor playing video games and talking like he was in our condo.

Just what we needed

The Old Man and the Sea Inn is in a great location especially for the price. With beach access so close it made going to the beach and back for a quick bite to eat so easy. Perfect size for 4 adults or children. All the amenities were great from the washer and dryer to the beach chairs and umbrellas. The only complaint would be that the thermostat would automatically go to 78 to 80 degrees at certain times and at night that made it uncomfortable to sleep unless you woke up to turn it back down. It has a passcode that prevented us from stopping it from doing that so that was slightly annoying. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay and fully intend on going back.

Super quiet area and walking distance to beach !

Easy checkin process, super quiet and location was walking distance to beach . Plenty of Beach chairs, and umbrellas were provided but both of them were broken preventing it to be locked at an angle. Washer, dryer and gas grills were provided. Overall would definitely stay again !

As advertised in listing, everything matched and then some. Great location for quick beach access, all necessary accessories to stay in and prep for the day at the beach. Close to places to eat if that is something one desires. Very accommodating place to relax and enjoy your vacation.

Amazing Stay!

This was such a great, affordable rental and I know I’ll be back here next time. We made use of all the amenities available to us and the walk to the beach was the best I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend this enough to anyone wanting to stay at Siesta Key!

Wonderful!! Can’t wait to return!!

Great place! Had a wonderful time! The place had everything we needed, dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas…just right for the two of us! While you can’t see the beach/ocean from the place it’s literally a straight 2-3 min walk down a soft sandy path to the beach. Beach is right next to a section of the ocean front that is rocky and provides a cool spot for finding shells. We had bikes delivered (and picked up) to our place and rode to siesta key village one day - 20-30 min ride - shopped a little, then visited the public beach there, which that too was wonderful. The next day we arranged for kayaks at Turtle Beach and kayak’d several hours around the Bird Keys. We are excited to tell our friends about the Old Man and the Sea in hopes we can return and stay there again!!

Great Location

Really close to beach. Walking distance to shopping as well. 15 mins driving to the village, so it is very quiet at night. We snorkeled and found a lot good shells.

Relaxing atmosphere steps to the beach

Loved our stay at the Old Man and the Sea. The location was fantastic, directly across from the beach access. The room was great and Daniel even had a bottle of wine as a welcome present. The common area outside was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. It was great to have beach chairs for our use and the outdoor shower to rinse off in after the day in the beach. Be aware that there is no common check in area with a bathroom, so if you are arriving early or checking out late you do not have access to a bathroom. There is a place to store your luggage though, and you can go ahead and use the beach chairs before you check in, or after you check out. We would definitely return.

Wonderful!

Excellent location. Super close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Don't necessarily need a car. We did rent a golf cart to go to the other end of the island..but not necessary if you plan on staying in that area and don't mind short walks. There are also free trolleys as well. Our place was clean and we liked the charm of the place. It was also great because they had beach chairs and umbrellas, so you didn't have to worry about getting those items. All around great trip!

A great mini getaway.

Everything was ready upon arrival and checking in/out was easy. The outside amenities, location (a short walk to the access) and the on site beach equipment made this a GREAT mini getaway with my spouse. Would definitely do it again.

What an experience!

We just returned from our stay on Siesta Key. Perfect, perfect, perfect! Old Man & The Sea is vintage, but very clean and well kept. Loved the outdoor area for reading with a glass of wine. And so convenient to the white powdery beach. Go at night when the moon is full - magical! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped (you wouldn’t want to make Thanksgiving dinner, but perfect for breakfasts and lunches), the owner responded quickly and kindly to a few minor concerns, and there was plenty to do on the island. Highly recommend the food tour of Venice, FL. Such a cute town and only about 30 minutes away. We also enjoyed Marie Selby garden - they have a Tiffany exhibition starting soon. Back to the house: loved the location, very quiet and close to the beach. Easy parking. Lots of towels. Big refrigerator. Hope you enjoy Siesta Key!

Close to beach- Key West style

The condo was cute and just big enough for our family. It was as close to the beach as you can get without paying much more money to be at a beachfront resort. Good value for the quieter end of Siesta Key.
