Hotel La Casa Mudéjar Hospedería

Great Hotel next to the Plaza Mayor

A very nice and comfortable hotel, right next to the Plaza Mayor. very friendly and helpful staff. A very nice room, very comfortable. Only problem that we had were with two large heavy suitcases and two sets of stairs.

Hotel Eurostars Convento Capuchinos

Nice building, disappointing service

The building itself is very nice, its an architectonic piece, as the name suggests and old convent restored and kept in very good shape. However, the way this hotel is run is very disappointing. First, the check in was fairly quick but nothing special. No smiles from the staff and no information regarding the hotel services (eg swimming pool, gym, spa) and we were told that the parking (advertised to be included in the booking) was full. So ended up parking on a public car park and spending an additional 16 euros. Initially we were given a room with a really stinky bathroom. After complaining and insisting they relocated us to a non smelly one. On top of that we decided to use the swimming pool and were charged 20 euros. The same amount that the charge outsiders. Meaning that you don't have any perks for staying there. On top of that they make you buy flip flops and hat for 4 euros. The hotel is very nice and the room we ended up staying was nice. But there is just no empathy whatsoever from the staff. I'm sure most of our issues could have been solved easily and our entire experience would have been completely different. Ended up feeling like they just cared about our money and nothing else.

Eurostars Plaza Acueducto

Great location

This fine little hotel was in the perfect spot, provided good access to everything we wanted to do in Segovia. The best roast pig at Meson de Candido is just a few steps from the front door. Breakfast was a nice touch. They offered good value, and an excellent experience.

Parador de Segovia

Great View

Great view and nice decor. The on-site bar was nice with a fireside seating area. It was off season for the outdoor pool, but the view from the pool deck was stunning. Breakfast was very good but a bit expensive. Outside the center city and not in walking distance but was able to drive closer in and park to tour the aquaduct area. The hotel has on-site free outdoor parking.
