I was particularly impressed the with staff working on the 28th floor executive lounge. They were generally prompt and thoughtful about the guests needs. I had local friends from Shenzhen who were my guests with me and they too enjoyed the services of the lounge. In particular, Chef Nikky, was exceptional in going about his work in the serving point. He took the extra effort of not only ensuring that certain dishes contain meat or not but also explained the food types clearly. He even came by our table to check on us and chatted to ensure all is well. Well done and this property has met my expectations well. Proud to be a regular member of Bonvoy!
Front desk understaffed therefore long line to check in. First room reeked of cigarette smoke. Took me almost 20 minutes to get key for second room. The rooms were just ok, nothing special. Only interesting element was bathtub & shower by window. Breakfast just ok. Would recommend checking out other options.
As I have to come to Shenzhen very often now I decided to give a try to this property. The place is still in a very undeveloped area, since nothing much around except a 7-11 shop opposite the hotel. If you come by subway and use line 11 (the one going to airport) is a 10 minutes walk to hotel. Rooms initially looks very good but then you got a so poor wifi connection that actually I had to use sometimes my own local data signal from my mobile phone. This is actually a shame for such property and only for this reason I will never be back again since the wasted time trying to work without a proper wifi signal is something that can't be recovered. Then, in the lounge they don't seem to ask lousy groups to tone down their voice level and it becomes annoying and uncomfortable. Overall a far from satisfactory experience.
Grand look in the lobby. Very spacious room. My room attendant always keeps it clean and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good with lots of choice and lovely presentation I can enjoy the large swimming pool and executive lounge service. Every staff is very enthusiastic and helpful. Although there are many trainees, they serve their guests in a courteous manner. I would like to send my appreciations to the following staff for their top tier service during my stay: Chef Zhong, Chef Todd and Chef Nana Restaurant: William, Megan and Hero Executive Lounge: Summer, Emily and Ryan Concierge: Tommy and Alan
Having seen many of the 4/5-star hotels in Shenzhen area, I decided to try this out on a recent business trip. Quick summary is that the rooms are decent, staff is friendly, but the internet sucks. The rooms are pretty standard and clean with modern amenities, but there is nothing 5-star about them. The WiFi and internet connectivity is extremely slow. If you complain to the front desk about it, they will tell you that an IT technician will "enhance" the WiFi for your room. I didn't notice any difference in my case. The food is fine. I got to try the breakfast & lunch. Although there are limited options for vegetarians like me, the staff was at least flexible to look into other options. Since the hotel is in one corner of Shenzhen with nothing around to explore in close proximity, I would have expected more dining options at a place like this. The hotel overall is average and nothing stands out in comparison to other JW Marriott properties. It is ok for a one-time stay.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice hotel to stay for the Valentines day before he left for business trip. We picked this hotel because we thought it is close to the airport and would be easy for him to get to the airport the next day. We enjoyed our time here so much. I guess because this is a fairly new hotel, everything is quite modern and clean which I absolutely adored. We booked the room with executive lounge access and it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice and romantic in some ways if you sit by the window and look out to the city. We had a simple afternoon tea at the lounge and they have amazing dessert. The swimming pool was so enjoyable and we loved it. I would definitely stay again.
We spend four nights in this luxury hotel, located in western Shenzhen, close to the airport. We drove with underground from the Futian district and it took an hour and two trains, plus ten minute walk from the station. There is not much close to the hotel, apart of the small 7 Eleven store; there is huge Uniwalk mall some 15 minute walk away. Hotel itself is very nice, with marble corridors and bathrooms. Our room 2021 was very nice, clean, bed was incredibly comfy, and all the staff very nice, friendly and accommodating. Executive lounge is a gem, as all the food offered (and there are many) are high quality and very good. Also used an outside pool and fitness, both are good. There were some crowds on the 3rd and 4th day, as there was national holiday and people seem to come to the hotel with families, with lots of small screaming children – but hotel managed the crowds quite nicely.
On our arrival, a very warm welcoming experience by one of the staff, I forgotten his name, offering luggage assistance and escorts for check in. The professional receptionist Ada, who did our check in and addressed our name with her friendly service and sweet smile made us feel great. The room assigned to us was awesome, preference were prepared accordingly. Operator staff well addressed of our name upon answering our calls and friendly. We call to get a plaster and the operator colleagues show his concern by asking if any of us were injured and need further assistance. We had never experienced such caring service ever at any of the five stars these day. Laundry service was efficient. At executive lounge, Summer and Scarlett absolutely warm and friendly. Fantastic team ever from our arrival to departures. Special thanks to Ms Chan, the front office manager who take care of our stay and recommended many places for us during our stay. Although we had a short stay but we will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Will be back next visit!
Hassle free to spend a weekend with friends and family, this hotel is always the number 1 choice. The receptionist greeted us with a warmest smile and assisted us to log on internet. Besides, we had a great dinner in Shenzhen Kitchen and good service. We definitely will come back in weekend stay for recharge. Love to hangout in the Executive Lounge under the relaxing ambiance and amazing view.
This is one of the better hotels in Shenzhen area. The executive lounge offers an eclectic gourmet selections during both breakfast and happy hour. Chef Nikky is very friendly, welcoming and goes out of his way to make sure everyone is taken care of.
