This is one great Holiday Inn property. It's a property that's over 20 years old but looks and feels like it just opened. Super clean, everything works as designed and it's in a great location off of I-43. They offer a happy hour until 7pm that includes good wine, a variety of beers, limited mixed drinks and light snacks. The attendant was great, always checking that everything is okay and going from table to table. The breakfast was usual HI fare, but was presented better than I've ever seen before. Always kept hot and fresh. Never out of anything. The staff was truly exceptional from check-in to check-out. They couldn't do enough for you. If you're near Sheboygan, do yourself a favor and stay here for a great, moderately priced stay. I can't say enough. Highly recommend.
What would you expect from a HIE ? This was for me a better experience because of very friendly stuff and pretty new or very well maintained rooms. so good stay. However the complementary breakfast is w/o comment. Some of that (something yellow is called omlette) is simply not eatable My view: better not to offer it. Joghurt, boiled eggs and fruits were good. Coffee and juice (instant). So overall the people there made my day. Gym is small but very good - new machines and clean. Pool exists. but is very small. Good located next to Interstate. Late. arrival and early leave did suit my needs.
Impressed and will be back! Food was great, beds were nice, room was clean. Pool, workout room, front desk people friendly and takes care of veterans! Buffalo wild wings close, also pretty close to pizza ranch!! 5 star!
Sheboygan really doesn't have a lot of "newer" hotels- so this was higher priced than most, but it was extremely clean, appeared to be new, quiet (despite being near highway and next to a Harley dealership), and had breakfast (that we missed). My only complaint was the rock-hard bed. I could not sleep more than an hour at a time due to needing to reposition. I think that's a trend- not sure why? We missed breakfast, so I can't comment on how good it was. It was one of the reasons we chose this property- that and the fact it was the newest hotel in town
Spent two nights on a recent business trip. Easy check in, clean room. Somehow my co-worker ended up with a suite but even my standard room was fine. The hotel definitely tries to make you feel at home as IHG members are given drink tickets for a free happy hour each night. They snacks aren't much (joked with my co-workers that I knew I was back in Wisconsin when I was given cheese spread and sliced sausage sticks). But it was definitely the thought that counts and it was nice to be able to have a beer or glass of wine after a day of travel or meetings to unwind. The front desk staff was very nice, although were not able to suggest good restaurants in the area which is surprising with Kohler so close by. I understand if they don't eat at those kind of restaurants themselves but it would be good if they could still make recommendations and were knowledgeable about the area from a customer service standpoint. Recommending Chili's to frequent travelers is not very helpful. Overall a nice place and highly recommend.
Hotel was clean and service was great. Nicole and Kaletha were both very helpful in suggesting restaurants places to see. Always said good morning or have a great day. Treated us like they really care for us. I would stay there again.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms were clean. Pool is good but No hot tub. Fitness room has weights, I did not see the weights advertised when booking and almost booked a different hotel. The website should be updated to say weights up to 50 pounds are in the fitness room along with an adjustable bench. I'd stay here again
I've stayed here several times for business. It doesn't take long before you're recognized as one of the "regulars." Wonderfully nice staff and exceptional service. They are very agreeable to special requests (i.e., early check-in) if there's any way they can accommodate them. Happy hours feature a nice complement of drinks, snacks and soups. What more could you ask for?
My wife and I decided to combine a weekend getaway with a visit to my brother and his wife in Sheboygan. We chose this hotel and were really impressed with the accommodations. The HVAC kept the room cozy, the selection of channels on the TV was excellent, and the Keurig coffee maker was a nice surprise. The room was quiet, the furniture very comfortable, and I was really impressed with the number of outlets - there were two 110-volt outlets and two USB outlets on each side of the bed, in addition to those near the desk. The lighting in the bathroom is great and the hot water was HOT in less time than it took to type this sentence. And it's always nice to have a refrigerator and microwave, Add the friendly staff and this is absolutely one of the best rooms I've been in.
I stay here often for work travel and it is always a top notch experience! The front desk is friendly and informative, the recently remodeled rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is really great for for ca continental style. They really do go the extra mile to assure all is right with your stay. Kudos!
