Room was dirty n the ppl next to us were loud breakfast eggs were cold
After a very exhausting day of moving we got to the hotel and was rushed thru registration because the clerk was in the bar watching the game on TV. The room was dirty, bed had pizza crumbs on it, drawer of dresser had a sharp screw sticking out of were there should have been a knob and it smelled terrible. We really wanted to leave but it was late and we had no idea what was else in the area. When I woke up about 2 am to look at my phone (table clock did not work) to see what time it was I had small bugs flying to the light of it, my husband felt he was being bitten up all night. Found out the next morning that breakfast is only served from 6-9. We got down about 8:45 and there was nothing left, we had to go out to eat. I will never stay there again.
It was good, have stayed here before and will again
We were in town for a convention and it was very convenient for downtown. The town has a great farmers market and good entertainment in the park every weekend.
Room was clean comfortable and a great bargain. Staff was cheerful and very helpful.
We didn't expect much when we arrived being that this motel is a budget type place, however, we did not expect mold on the back of the shower curtain, a toilet that rocked when you sat down, a dirty mirror with streaks, stains on the furniture, broken radiators, and an elevator that was as old as a century; it gave you a joy ride at each landing and just a very old and run down feel. Even the continental breakfast was not the greatest and the scrambled eggs were cold! The best thing about the place was the bar off the back of the place and even that wasn't very good due to the patrons who frequented the establishment. Individuals with black gums and no teeth. A little bit scary for people new to the area. Yikes!
I needed a budget-friendly hotel for a seminar in Kohler. Perfect location, close to the water, close to fun shops/restaurants. Bruce at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, however when I checked out, the younger gentleman working was clearly tired and couldn't check me out of my room as their system was down. The bedspreads had some old stains on them, but the sheets and pillows were fine. My last night there was awful - a party was running up and down the hall at 12:30 am, pounding on their friend's doors. The bar is not well ventilated. You can smell cooking grease the instant you walk into the hotel, and that smell does waft up the floors. I was on the 3rd floor and could smell it in the hallway. If you're looking for a party hotel, obviously this is it. I will pick somewhere else if I need a full night's sleep.
Everyone there was very helpful to deal with us after we had a long day . The food in the bar restraunte was excellent low priced very good Pool was very relaxing clean and refreshing. I Will encourage other family members to stay there when they go to Sheboygan
This hotel was OK for the price. We checked in and the light did not work in bathroom-they fixed it ,but did not fix the dripping bathtub faucet which proceeded to get worse, complained the next AM and they fixed it. I had to ring the phone at the front desk 3 different times before the attendent came. He has a bed in the back room! My major complaint would be not having someone at the front desk at all times during the day-should not be sleeping!!!
