The Space:

Perched on an oversized platform deck, the Hickory Treehouse offers unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains, making it a one-of-a-kind retreat. Designed by Pete Nelson, the “Treehouse Master,” this custom treehouse combines breathtaking outdoor spaces with thoughtfully designed interiors. Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Hickory provides a luxurious escape into nature with modern conveniences.



Accessing the Hickory Treehouse begins with a descent down oversized stone stairs, leading to an expansive deck. The covered outdoor bar, designed for unobstructed mountain views, creates the perfect setting for morning coffee or evening drinks. Inside, the treehouse features two separate spaces, each blending rustic craftsmanship with cozy amenities. One space includes a queen bedroom, tiny-home kitchen, living area with a leather sleeper sofa, a bathroom, and a lofted queen bed accessible by ladder. The other space offers another queen bedroom, a bathroom, and a second lofted queen bed.



The Hickory Treehouse also boasts the largest platform in Treehouse Grove and is just steps away from the tree-supported community hot tub, providing both convenience and relaxation.
