Mystic Mountain

We came for a cabin getaway and this cabin was amazing! I fell in love with a cabin in Tennessee once again. The host Irene was friendly, responsive, and helpful. The cabin was clean and we had no issues out of any of the items on the property. There was plenty to do without leaving the cabin. It was stocked up with anything you would need outside of groceries of course. The kitchens both had everything you need to make a full size meal. The view was great and the sound of the creek was so serene when outdoors. We were able to see bears and grill out. Most of our time was definitely spent outdoors. There were plenty of towels and access to many local places. I was not ready to leave. We would definitely stay here again.

Last minute getaway

We stumbled upon this wonderful cabin last minute when our original plan fell through and we could not be more pleased. Everything in the house was well appointed and very clean. The host was very responsive with our questions. We had an amazing week at this beautiful property and will definitely be returning in the future!

Outstanding Stay!

Location did not disappoint. The cabin is located off the beaten path with quick and easy access to The Smokies Green Brier entrance. The property is heavily wooded and the creek has a couple of small 2 to 4 ft water falls on the property so you can sit on the porch swing and enjoy the peaceful water sound. The host was extremely friendly and quick to respond with any questions. We enjoyed the theater area with the arcade games and was able to login the TV to our cable provider back home to watch the LSU game. The movie posters were a plus for us, they were all our families favorite movies. We stayed in June and were driving our daughter to the Navel Academy for her plebe summer. It made for a very special send off!

Perfect and Relaxing

We wanted to stay in a cabin somewhat isolated but still close enough to the cities to explore and this was perfect. We LOVED the creek and the wrap around deck. We even saw a momma black bear with three cubs right at the cabin! We had great communication with the owner and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here.

Just What We Needed!

Book it! We would certainly visit again! The place is in the woods and away from the hustle and bustle, yet still easy to access where you want to go. 25 mins into the Smokies, 35 to Pigeon Forge. The cabin was set with all necessities: cookware, towels, clean sheets, blankets, even toilet paper, coffee pods, dish detergent. Now I gather some may be left by previous tenants, but we’ve been to other vrbos where the towels and cookware were scarce, this was perfect. Only 2 downsides: there was limited table seating, nice breakfast table upstairs and longer table downstairs, but we made it work and I would not let it detour you(too chilly to eat outside, otherwise would have been there b/c plenty on deck); the living room upstairs is closed & kitchen separate, as we had 7 and wanted to be together, comfortable seating for 5. Please take this as info only, as we would do it all over again!! Adults spent a lot of time in the kitchen, the kids played games(that do work!) downstairs and we enjoyed cooking outside, the fire pit and at the creek. The outside deck is 3/4 the house, which was awesome! There is outside lighting, perfect for sitting out with a drink and enjoying nature. There is a neighbor down the hill some and up from you, but far enough to not be a worry! Plenty of parking, Great house, Very hospitable host: quick with response, and even sent a gift for Thanksgiving. With Many trips of the past, this is the First we were appreciated by the host in that manner! Thx!

An amazing oasis

This property was a dream come true with all the amenities, the options on property, and the location. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor eating area on the second level porch suited our family size well. It was a peaceful experience and a very memorable trip for the three generations of our family who were lucky to enjoy this destination and home. The owner of the home was very responsive and helpful to anything we needed along the way as it pertains to our stay. This is a great escape from the normal hustle and bustle in life and you will feel relaxed in the atmosphere this location presents, whether you're in the hot tub, swinging on the swing, visiting the stream just steps away or in awe as you light the outdoor fireplace and enjoy some s'mores in the crackling fire.

Great Mountain Retreat

Really enjoyed this house. Perfect for a remote getaway. Only downside is there is not really any internet and the TV is streaming. We were able to hotspot and run the TV off of that. Would recommend doing that over using the internet at the house.

Magical property near the National Park

We've stayed in the area many times, but this property was my favorite. The fire pit and creek were just beautiful and fun for the kids. It creates a very relaxing and secluded environment that most rental cabins don't provide. We really enjoyed the porch swings and hanging chairs as well. The cabin was clean and well stocked. It's a little bit steep towards the end of the drive, but nothing our minivan couldn't handle and much more tame than many of the cabins in the area. We did have a little trouble finding it when we arrived the first night in the dark--the property address takes you to the cabin next door on Google/Apple maps, so pay close attention to the directions sent.

Overall… Great Stay

Great stay. Cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you need. Wi-Fi was spotty, so hopefully you don’t want to steam on multiple devices. But it was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of everyday like. Would recommend to others.

The best ever!

What a perfect cabin! So Lovely for a large family. So many spots to relax and see nature. The cabin exceeded our expectations! The stream and sitting area that runs though the property creates the most relaxing sound. Sitting the porch listen to it babbling while eating big family dinners was awesome. The brook itself was so nice to go sit by and created so much scope for the imagination for little kiddos.definitely the most favorite vacation so many happy memories! The owner was quick to respond and so accommodating!

Great house with amazing porch and outdoor area

Beautiful, well appointed home located off Wears Valley Rd. Easy to get to but still gives you that remote, private feel. Roads are one lane in parts but easy to drive (paved). The house had an amazing porch with swings, picnic benches, and rockers which my family and I enjoyed immensely. We didn't really cook but there were plenty of pots and pans. Loved the retro video games. There was plenty of space for us. We would easily stay there again. It was very close to Elvira's cafe which is fantastic. If anyone needs to use the internet to try and work while on vacation, you probably would need to find a local wi-fi hotspot. The internet buffered a lot and the internet seemed a little glitchy which considering where we were, was not altogether unexpected. But if you are just looking for a full on vacation, no work, the house is great. We didn't use the outdoor fireplace as it was rather muggy while we were there but in the fall, we would have used it a lot. It was lovely hearing the water of the creek that runs just below the property. Host, Irene, was very responsive when we had a question. Lots of space at the kitchen tables. Living room furniture was comfortable. Beds are on the firm side for those needing soft beds. A very, woodsy, private and relaxing home that was well decorated. Overall a great place to stay.
