16 Bedrooms and sleeping up to 81 guests, THE BIG ELK LODGE are in for a real treat! This 16 bedroom, 18 bathroom log-style luxury Pigeon Forge cabin has everything visitors will need for a memorable vacation experience.

Tucked away from any neighbors, THE BIG ELK LODGE offers the ultimate secluded vacation feel while still being just a short drive from all the fun and exciting things to do in Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains.

With the ability to sleep up to 81 guests comfortably under the same roof, THE BIG ELK is the ideal lodging rental for any family reunion, church retreat, or group of friends wanting to spend some time together in the heart of the Smoky Mountains.

Upper Level: Comfort with a mountain twist, the upstairs at THE BIG ELK LODGE can sleep 53 guests in its 9 large bedrooms, each with a private bath. 7 King beds, 6 of those rooms have futons. 1 bedroom, (bedroom #10) with a unique custom set of 2 triple stacked Queen bunks, 1 bedroom, (bedroom #5) with 1 set of Queen bunks, 1 set of Twin over Queen bunks, as well as an additional king bed. In the common area of this level you will find 2 custom sets of twin bunks as well as a futon. Knowing safety is the most important part of any vacation, also on this level there is an emergency exit in the unlikely event of an emergency. On a clear day, many visitors to the Pigeon Forge cabin have reported being able to see as far away as the ski lodge at Ober Gatlinburg ski resort.

Main Level: This level sleeps 8. The main level of THE BIG ELK LODGE is where guests will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a large refrigerator, freezer, 2 stoves, 2 dishwashers, an ice maker, and lots of seating. The open floor plan of this level also allows guests to flow freely between the kitchen and living areas located on this floor. The two king bedrooms on this level have a futon and a full bathroom in each (one of which is handicap friendly). A half bathroom is also on this level.

Lower Level: This level sleeps 20. An entertainment lover’s oasis, this level is home to a regulation pool table, a 21-person theater, deck with two bubbling hot tubs and a full kitchen. In addition, on this level guests will find 5 king bedrooms each with a futon and a private bath as well as the laundry facilities and a half bathroom. Additional access to the lower level deck provided by the wrap around deck making it wheelchair friendly. ***BIG BUCK AND MULTICADE VIDEO GAMES ADDED IN FALL 2019!!!

Great views

Overall nice place to stay, pools were clean, outdoor pool was great!! House needed better cleaning, lots of cobwebs and floor a little dirty. Handle was not secured on refrigerator freezer. Couple of shower curtain liners were mildew/moldy. Family had a great time, kids loved to see the mamma bear and her 3 cubs. Close to all the attractions but high enough in mountains to see great views and be peaceful😊

Problems

Could have been cleaned a little better, chip bags found on futons and floors not sweep. Needed to be dust. One hot tub wasnt working called property manager they where to send someone out who Never came. And the bees/hornets where terrible it was a nest somewhere close couldn't enjoy the back porch view at night

Smoky mountain getaway Lodge

Beautiful sunrise, mountain views, surrounding nature and the comfort of the lodge made our stay enjoyable.We really enjoyed the few days that we spent at the lodge and considering coming back In the Years to come.
