Just off Hwy 123, minutes from downtown Seneca and less than 15 minutes from Clemson.
Our modern open layout farmhouse with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths sits high on a cove on the south side of Lake Keowee.
Entry
This house was curated with one goal: no stress. Relax and forget about the real world during your stay. We wanted to set this theme from the moment you walk in the door. Take a second to go back in time to the 90s and before and reminisce on the nostalgia of simpler times. A pair of retro water skis and vintage photos on the water should melt any stress you're still holding on to.
Living Room
65" TV with Sonos soundbar and sub is perfect for the big game or your favorite movie. Sectional couch and oversized swivel chair provides comfortable seating for everyone.
Sunroom
A giant bean bag, poufs, and a couple chairs provide the most cozy boho space overlooking the lake. A perfect spot for morning coffee, your favorite novel or catching up on emails.
Kitchen
Fully stocked kitchen has an open layout to the living room. Equipped with stainless steel appliances, an induction cooktop, and tons of counter space. You won't need to bring a thing, we have pots, pans, plenty of dishware, flatware, a kettle, spices, cooking oil, etc. All grilling utensils are located underneath the microwave.
Additional Appliances: Air fryer, waffle maker, and popcorn maker
Coffee Bar
We LOVE coffee, so we wanted to make sure our fellow coffee snobs are taken care of. You'll find a french press, a cold brew french press, and a pour over for our fancy friends. You'll also have a Nespresso machine with a variety of pods and a traditional coffee maker for the less adventurous. Finally, we have several flavors of Torani syrups to liven up your lattes.
Dining Room
Cast a warm glow onto a romantic dinner for two or bring the whole family in for supper. The butcher block table will comfortably seat 8.
Cocktail Bar
In the dining room we have a two piece bar with plenty of barware to make your favorite 'tail. Mixing glass, bar spoon, strainer, shaker, muddler, and even a smoker for delicious smoky old fashioneds. Mix it up with a variety of funky vintage glassware and a craft cocktail wouldn't be complete without a garnish of dried fruit.
If you prefer a fermented grape, we have plenty of white and red wine glasses with a decanter to let your vino really open up.
Upstairs Master
You'll wake up to a stunning view of Keowee's bright blue water after a restful night of sleep on a king mattress. A sliding glass door opens up to a screened in porch with direct access to the upper deck. Attached master bath features a jacuzzi tub beneath a skylight window and walk in shower with three different sets of jets. The master bedroom also features a walk in closet, 55" smart TV and hammock chair.
Upper Deck
Cushioned outdoor lounge chairs and a sofa reside under a linen covered pergola. Blast the outdoor fan with the flip of a switch for those hot summer days.
The 36" Blackstone grill provides enough cooking space to feed a small army. Pro tip: make your hearty breakfast of eggs, pancakes and bacon on the grill top with coffee in hand.
A 6 person farmhouse table is perfect for outdoor lunch and the middle fire strip adds perfect ambience to your evening.
Finally, the outdoor bar cart will keep the kid's lemonade and your adult lemonades nice and chilled.
Billiards Room
Downstairs you'll be greeted by a 7' pool table, 55" TV and some of our favorite album art. Feel free to play the guitar, banjo or ukelele hanging from the wall.
Downstairs Master
The downstairs master is a tranquil space separated from the bunk room by a sliding farmhouse door. Queen bed with 43” TV and direct access to the lower deck as well as the side entrance to the house.
Downstairs Bunk Room
The coolest and most comfortable bunk beds you’ve ever seen. Access the upper bed with stairs on the side of the bed instead of the typical ladder. An upper single and lower double bed is comfortable for kids and adults alike. Large room with 55” TV and direct access to downstairs master bath and walk in closet.
Downstairs Master Bath
Dual shower heads and Jack and Jill vanities provide room for two to get ready in this bathroom. Access the walk in closet directly from the bathroom. You’ll find a hair dryer down here as well.
Downstairs Blue Bedroom
This room is perfect for those who like to sleep past sunrise. This room doesn’t boast a view of the lake, but it is the darkest room and sure to provide hours of restful sleep. Queen bed with dresser and large closet.
Downstairs Cozy Bedroom
This room is the smallest bedroom in the house, but there’s a certain charm to it’s petite size. A tall window at the foot of the bed allows the sun rising over the lake to gently rustle you from your slumber.
Downstairs Common Bath
Bright blue tiled shower provides a third full bath for guests to freshen up.
Downstairs Laundry
Dedicated laundry room with stackable washer and dryer. We will provide a few laundry pods for you to use if you’d like
Downstairs Deck
Year round hot tub overlooking the water, outdoor 55” TV, cushioned lounge chairs and couch, patio string lights, ping pong table and cornhole boards. Need we say more!? Good luck having a bad time down here. Did we mention you can get to the lower deck by taking a big blue corkscrew slide?
Private Dock
Take the steps down to the private dock to enjoy lakeside living at its finest. Bask in the sun or jump off of the elevated diving board if you’re up for a splash. Located in a quiet cove, the water is calm and ideal for lounging in a floaty with drink in hand. There are two kayaks for you to enjoy as well! Just be sure to take life jackets with you...the DNR don't mess around about it!
Our boat will be on the lift, but we encourage you to bring your boat and feel free to anchor it to the side of the dock. Keowee has beautiful mountain views outside of our cove and the lake is always lively with several lakeside dining options.
Just a fair warning, the stairs down to the dock are steep and there’s quite a few of them. Don’t forget your cell phone in the house! The steep steps lend to better views and deep water right off the dock so the trade off is well worth it.
Please be aware:
The driveway and the steps down to the dock are steep! We recommend backing down the driveway. You can fit two cars in the area right by the house for easy unloading of goods (and our elderly friends).
The steepness lends to beautiful views and deep water off the dock so it's well worth the extra effort.
