ive been staying at Artemis at times and I love the staff who are very service minded and helpful. I have stayed in all the pool villas and also in deluxe apartment. It’s all great value for money. Not a high end place but I really feel like home when I come

Lovely pool and the rooms are beautiful. We did book a king bed hotel room got given a queen room thatis the smallest of the rooms and as we have seen the other rooms the property still tried to tell us that we got the correct room! Beds are comfortable. Pillows need improving but overall enjoyed our stay

We requested a Non smoking room but because the windows adjoining the alleyway are mesh you get the second hand smoke from your neighbours, both our neighbours were heavy morning smokers. Someone had been smoking in the bathroom as cigarette ends had been left on the wall to the open space. Bathroom needed to be cleaned twice and even then the standard wasn’t great. Had to get pillows changed as they had mildew staining on them Mildew staining on blinds, water came in on bed with heavy rain Phoned at midnight by receptionist be told they were moving us, only to go to reception the next morning to be told we would have to share with another couple! We obviously didn’t move. Our safe was broken and had to be fixed before we could use it. They are slowly renovating the rooms, spent one of our days by the pool but with only six loungers for the complex you can only hope you get one. Those available are battered with exposed foam where the covers are split. The staff are great as usual in Bali and clearly try but with old facilities it’s got to be really difficult for them

Liked the fact that it was central, a short walk to beach and shops but was quiet and private. Bathroom was not cleaned particularly well. The room was ok but did not have any lounge furniture. It was slightly misrepresented on the website. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

They didn’t have my booking when I arrived, I waited an hour and a half for my room. I was told I’d get an free upgrade for my troubles for the remainder of my stay. The following day I was taken to another room that had a slightly larger lounge area, but a smaller bedroom and a bathroom with no bath. Several doors were locked shut - I asked for them to be opened and after an hour, voila I had a jacuzzi! THEN the air conditioning ‘stopped working’ Would I like to go back to the room I’d booked? Yes? Of course (which is why I booked it?). I was given many apologies for having had to settle into a room three time’s in two days - was told they’d make it up to me with a free massage. Every single person in the compound received special gift complimentary massages. And for families (couple, two kids) they got 4 vouchers. I was one woman in a double room, I still got one. When I finally and happily returned to the original room I’d booked, I found that the kind deluxe bed mattress was now replaced and was now two single mattresses stuck together and made up as a king bed. Dodgy place, which is unfortunate.

Amazing villas

Right in the heart if Seminyak, but you wouldn’t know it! 2 minutes walk to shopping and restaurants, 5 minute walk to the beach. The room (garden villa with jacuzzi) was stunning, and gets made up twice a day. The staff are super helpful with making bookings and reservations, and local knowledge. The staff at the restaurant are very friendly and happy to help. There is also a laundry service, bug beautiful pool and gardens.

Room was a good size. Bathroom was huge. Swimming pool is nice. Restaurant was good. Walking distance to the beach about 15 minutes. Quiet.
