Our room was REALLY narrow--it was a little difficult for two of us to navigate the space together! And, very worst, the water in the shower never got hot. It never really got above luke warm. The little restaurant in the hotel was good, the location is great and closeby some other really excellent places to eat--within walking distance of the Palace Kitchen and Rocco's. The room is well appointed and the amenities are nice. The "naked" sleeping set up of personal duvets that have their covers washed between guests is really nice.
Great location in Downtown Seattle. The passing monorail adds interest when looking out the window.
We stayed at Hotel Five for my husband's birthday recently. The location can't be beat, you can walk to everything including Pike Place and the Space Needle. However, the hotel definitely needs a little love. I'm not sure how long Pineapple has owned it but it seems a bit like they've put some lipstick on a pig and are trying to pass it off as a luxury hotel. They were doing work on the pipes at night, which was loud and annoying not to have water at night. Also, the water temperature never got hot enough in the shower. The rooms are nice but definitely tiny and there wasn't a lot of storage for clothes. The staff was so nice though and I think we'd stay again but maybe look to upgrade to a larger suite. I hope they do more work on the hotel to make it nicer.
Great location, close enough to walk to most places, but not very quiet. Could hear other guests in nearby rooms with no problem, doors opening and closing throughout the night.
When we checked in, it was super fast and easy. Hassle free which is exactly what you want after a day of traveling. The room was comfortable with bottle of waters and coffee waiting for you daily. The beds were the absolute high light, I literally slept like I was on a cloud! So awesome
Great hotel. Staff was very friendly. Only problem we had was they didn't clean our room between nights. Just left clean towels. The front desk was very understanding and gave us some credit.
When I began my search for a place to stay in Seattle I wanted a place that would be the most convenient in terms of walking to downtown and the Seattle Center. Hotel 5 just so happens to be smack dead in the middle of both, it's a quick walk to where you wanna be in Seattle.
Hotel Five has a unique and contemporary vibe. Very upscale and "today". The staff was great and helpful with my"unusual" requests prior to leaving on our Alaskan Cruise. The location was perfect or our short stay in Seattle and allowed us to walk to restaurants and other tourists attractions in downtown Seattle. Loved the pillows and down comforters. Just like home!
It was so impressed me. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean. The location is convenient. Totally perfect to stay!
The hotel was within walking distance of all the sights we were interested in. Lots of restaurants close by.
Very quiet, great location and the most comfortable bed that I want in my own home.
Nice eclectic room, food in cafe was superb!!! Walking distance to downtown....
Very friendly hotel staff always willing to help. Hotel located in the middle of tourists attractions. Available shuttle service to prime locations around the city. Bikes available to hotel guests to use to get around and see the attractions. Connected restaurant with breakfast and early lunch available. Within walking distance to the rail tram which runs to the space needle. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.
Hotel was centrally located and able to walk to all the sites in downtown Seattle. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Took advantage of the free bikes the hotel offers to ride one day instead of walk and worked great. They also provided free bottles of water in your room that were restocked every day.
Friendly staff that is very helpful with all our needs.
Pros: Excellent location Close enough to everything to walk Definitely recommend their diner Cute decor Comfortable beds Parking available Concierge was very helpful Cons: Small rooms Tiny bathroom (Do not recommend the double queen room for more then 2 people max) No view Parking is tight and $39/day. No on street parking for > 2 hours
The hotel was walking distance to Pikes Place market, aquarium, space needle and music museum. The cafe inside hotel was pointless, the hours are 7-12 and the coffee was horrible especially when you walk outside and there's 2 other coffee shops.
The staff at Hotel 5 were wonderful! Friendly and helpful at every interaction. Hotel includes a free shuttle drop off and pick up around town which is super convenient and bikes to borrow. Just remember to schedule your shuttle ahead of time.
Excellent location. Just a few of blocks to the tourist sights. Pike Place market and the space needle were 15 minute walks at most. The breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff was great and greeted us every time we walked by. The room was comfortable and clean.
I stayed at this hotel over 4th of July weekend. The front staff was always friendly. You can ask for bottled water at any time and they're happy to retrieve them for you. The hotel offers a free shuttle to a few main spots like the space needle and pikes place but you need a reservation in advance so I wasn't able to use it. The elevator requires a room key to activate which always makes me feel better. Housekeeping only came twice during my 3 night stay which I thought was odd. There is a safety security box in the room. Overall the room was clean, the bed was comfortable but the noise from outside can be heard very much through the window. I was on the second floor and it seemed like there was a business next door that had multiple Diesel trucks coming in and out of the parking lot. Not a big deal since I was already up early but I did notice that. Across the street is Top Pot donuts! The hotel is located within 15-20 min walking distance to pikes place market, but I took a Lyft and it cost less than $5. Save your energy, there's a lot of walking to be done. I liked the hotel. I would recommend it. I had breakfast at Max's, the restaurant onsite and it was pretty good.
