Staypineapple at Hotel FIVE

My wife and I drive up to Seattle from our home in Portland to see a concert at the Crocodile, which is right down the street. Overall, the location was excellent, the front desk staff was very kind and there are a lot of restaurant options nearby. For whatever reason, the front desk comped our parking and provided a $10 voucher for the cafe/room service. The wood floors in the room were very nice and the overall room was very clean. The only mild annoyance was that the cafe (and consequently room service) was only open from 7 am to 11 am. But like I said above, there's a lot of dining options around the hotel and it is a very safe neighborhood.

The hotel is surprisingly clean considering its appearance from outside. The location of this hotel is excellence, just few blocks away from all attractions. The food in their own diner is excellence and clean. The staffs are all friendly and helpful. The only one minor thing is the bedsheet is thick (though very comfort). You may get very hot sleeping in it.

Great location, just within walking distance from the space needle, tons of restaurants and cafes and the retail square. Great staff, amenities and overall experience.

Great stay that was close to everything. Carmen at the front desk was very helpful got us where we needed to go and let us use an extra umbrella, which in Seattle is a necessity.

Great location downtown, clean, fun and great amenities. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in downtown Seattle. Within walking distance to all attractions.

Our room was REALLY narrow--it was a little difficult for two of us to navigate the space together! And, very worst, the water in the shower never got hot. It never really got above luke warm. The little restaurant in the hotel was good, the location is great and closeby some other really excellent places to eat--within walking distance of the Palace Kitchen and Rocco's. The room is well appointed and the amenities are nice. The "naked" sleeping set up of personal duvets that have their covers washed between guests is really nice.

Great location in Downtown Seattle. The passing monorail adds interest when looking out the window.

We stayed at Hotel Five for my husband's birthday recently. The location can't be beat, you can walk to everything including Pike Place and the Space Needle. However, the hotel definitely needs a little love. I'm not sure how long Pineapple has owned it but it seems a bit like they've put some lipstick on a pig and are trying to pass it off as a luxury hotel. They were doing work on the pipes at night, which was loud and annoying not to have water at night. Also, the water temperature never got hot enough in the shower. The rooms are nice but definitely tiny and there wasn't a lot of storage for clothes. The staff was so nice though and I think we'd stay again but maybe look to upgrade to a larger suite. I hope they do more work on the hotel to make it nicer.

Great location, close enough to walk to most places, but not very quiet. Could hear other guests in nearby rooms with no problem, doors opening and closing throughout the night.

When we checked in, it was super fast and easy. Hassle free which is exactly what you want after a day of traveling. The room was comfortable with bottle of waters and coffee waiting for you daily. The beds were the absolute high light, I literally slept like I was on a cloud! So awesome

Great hotel. Staff was very friendly. Only problem we had was they didn't clean our room between nights. Just left clean towels. The front desk was very understanding and gave us some credit.

When I began my search for a place to stay in Seattle I wanted a place that would be the most convenient in terms of walking to downtown and the Seattle Center. Hotel 5 just so happens to be smack dead in the middle of both, it's a quick walk to where you wanna be in Seattle.

Hotel Five has a unique and contemporary vibe. Very upscale and "today". The staff was great and helpful with my"unusual" requests prior to leaving on our Alaskan Cruise. The location was perfect or our short stay in Seattle and allowed us to walk to restaurants and other tourists attractions in downtown Seattle. Loved the pillows and down comforters. Just like home!

It was so impressed me. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean. The location is convenient. Totally perfect to stay!

The hotel was within walking distance of all the sights we were interested in. Lots of restaurants close by.

Very quiet, great location and the most comfortable bed that I want in my own home.

Nice eclectic room, food in cafe was superb!!! Walking distance to downtown....

Very friendly hotel staff always willing to help. Hotel located in the middle of tourists attractions. Available shuttle service to prime locations around the city. Bikes available to hotel guests to use to get around and see the attractions. Connected restaurant with breakfast and early lunch available. Within walking distance to the rail tram which runs to the space needle. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Hotel was centrally located and able to walk to all the sites in downtown Seattle. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Took advantage of the free bikes the hotel offers to ride one day instead of walk and worked great. They also provided free bottles of water in your room that were restocked every day.

Friendly staff that is very helpful with all our needs.

Hi Amy, Thank you for taking time to share your experience at Hotel FIVE. I am so sorry the conditioner canister was not working properly in your room; my sincere apologies. We do have several different room configurations. When you return, which we hope you will, just let know you prefer NOT to be in the more narrow room type. Thank you for choosing Hotel FIVE when in Seattle. Warmly, Kate GM
