Unwind in Scotch Plains at this enchanting apartment. This cozy retreat features 2 welcoming bedrooms with queen beds, a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, and an additional living space with a comfy sofa bed and a kitchen area. Guests can enjoy amenities like WiFi, AC, and heating during their stay.
The wonderful, spacious apartment is a 30 min train ride from NYC, a short ride from Newark airport [EWR] and JFK airport in NYC. Kickback, relax and enjoy everything in NJ and NY and our apartment has to offer. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. All people are welcome! Just friendly reminder that your apartment is on frist floor of the house. There will be at most two hosts living on the top floor, but guests will be given complete privacy and should rarely run into hosts unless help is needed.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features 2 bedrooms. Other standard amenities include a dryer and an ironing board.

Buyer Beware

My employees had a job in Scotch Plains and booked this place for one night—just to shower and sleep after working all day in 100 heat. They returned to a hot basement apartment with no working shower or AC, so they left.I reached out to the owner afterward and was met with zero accountability—just blame for not calling her in the moment. The reality is, the space was unlivable, and my team had no interest in sitting around sweating while trying to fix basic amenities that should have been working in the first place.The listing makes no mention that this is a basement unit where you hear every step from the floor above. And instead of addressing the actual issue, the host deflected any responsibility and offered no resolution.I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. If something goes wrong during your stay, don’t expect support or ownership—just excuses.
