Positive: We stayed for 8 days. staff was friendly and accommodating. Free HBO in room. Ice water everyday in lobby. Not charged for snacks taken in the lobby. King size bed was very comfortable. Price was very reasonable. Location was wonderful. Close to everything. We walked or took a short uber ride. Specialty coffee and sandwich shop one block away. Superb italian pasta restaurant next to coffee shop. ( no alcohol there) Crystal beer restaurant a few blocks away. All great. Negative: construction starts next door at 6:45 am. Incessant beeping for hours. Drove us mad. Ear plugs did not work. They could have relocated us to front facing room but they did not. We had to beg for toilet paper. No hair dryer in room. Took 3 days to get one. Rooms are cleaned every 3 days. Had to put trash cans in hallway. Restaurant in hotel gets mixed reviews. Free coffee in AM but breakfast is 12.00. Very limited menu for dinner. Restaurant was closed our first few days.

The room was very nice but because of covid it was lacking some amenities. The "bag" breakfast wasn't worth eating and other than a mini water, everything else you had to pay extra for. Location is great.

They force you to use valet for $29 or park in the garage across the street for $10. I wanted my vehicle safe so i chose valet just to find out they parked my vehicle in the garage across rhe street anyway. The valet is only available from 7am to 10pm so when we checked out at 5am it was a hassle getting my vehicle and ate up a lot of my time. I booked this hotel because Orbitz said they had a pool and spa. Neither of these things were available the staff at the front desk said its on their website but not orbitz. The hotel and roo. Was very fresh and clean.

I Loved everything

We chose this beautiful property based on the pictures listed on Orbitz. The rooms were not cheap as we wanted to be right in the heart of the Historic District. NO ONE told us that this hotel was in the middle of a complete renovation. There was no pool, no fitness center, and no ice machines. There were sheets, tools, cardboard taped to all the floors, plastic in doorways, fire alarms going off, construction noise starting at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, and no one to help with any of these issues. One of our rooms had a thermostat that was set at 76 and we couldn't get the air cooler. One of our rooms was set in the 50s and felt like a freezer. Our third room was supposed to have two double beds since there were three people, and instead had one and a pull out couch. We totally didn't get our money's worth out of Marriott and I don't know if I will ever use Orbitz to book again.

The property is under construction and it was no clearly advertised that construction would be ongoing. Staff was not friendly or courteous, appearing to have an attitude. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. None of the facilities were open. Great disappointment for the price that was paid. Doesn’t uphold the image that one has when dealing with the Marriott brand.

Great location for price. Nice rooms and nice hotel overall. Front desk woman was not very friendly though, and we didnt like that it was mandatory valet for $25 per day

Front desk staff not friendly at all. Cleaness very poor. They charge for parking too when. It supposed to be provided by the hotel. Too old furniture

The property was nice and clean but it’s not a place to take a family because more bars and restaurants in the restaurants are open till six or seven at night because there’s a lot more clubs in anything and all the monuments have been taken down besides one

Very clean

I love the hotel, it was really clean, and really central from everything.

The staff was super friendly and our room was huge. The proximity of the hotel to all the attractions was great too. It’s a short walk to everything.

Only here one night but all was good. Didn't realize there was no free parking though.

Location is best feature. Desperately needs updating in bathrooms.
