Clean, Comfortable & Great Location

It's nice to arrive a place as advertised. This place was clean, stocked and ready to be our home base. Location was excellent, just blocks from historic downtown and the river front which made for easy travel.

We had a nice stay at Sailor in Savannah. The location is just outside the city, but still walkable, about 20 minutes if you want to head into town. Parking was easy, and the house was clean overall, though the master bathroom needed a bit more attention. I let the property manager know about that, as well as an issue with the kitchen outlets.One thing to be aware of, the listing says there are two single bunk beds, but there was only one double bunk. That was a little misleading, and one of our group members had to sleep on the couch.The house is beautiful and we did enjoy our time there.

You Can’t Judge a Book by Its Cover!

This place is elegant at first glance, but the maintenance issues were overwhelming, The televisions never worked properly. The refrigerator leaked puddles daily. One bank of outlets didn’t work. I will tell you that the maintenance people were awesome, but our experience was ridiculous!

Great place

The condo was very nice, and pretty much walkable to any of the places we wanted to see. Tybee Island was a quick 12 mile drive, also we drove to Hilton Head, and Hunter Island State Park which to me is a must see if you're in the area. The only thing I would say that is a negative, (which is really no big deal), is that you don't get any local channels on the TV, which would be nice to see if there's anything going on in the area. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone, we will be coming back.

Beautiful home!

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend. The location of this beautiful home is perfect! It’s in a quiet development that we felt very safe coming in and out at all hours. Also, only a 5-10 minute drive just about anywhere! The only thing that I would like to say is there are a lot of stairs so if you have knee problems be warned. We would 100% stay here again!!

Family mini vacation

This property was gorgeous. Very convenient to walking to the Riverfront, restaurants and shopping. When we come again I would try to stay here again.

Beautiful property

Very comfortable property and location was great. Minutes from downtown Savannah. We both had to work and there was plenty of space for us to spread out. The only drawback was that there are a lot of stairs! The main living area is up at least 10 stairs and the bedrooms another 10. I think that’s normal for Savannah, but I hadn’t thought of it.

Sailor’s Retreat Review

Beautiful unit, new construction and great layout. Furniture and beds very comfortable and of high quality. Kitchen very well stocked with new dishes, plenty of mugs, glasses, utensils, new pots and pans. Washer and dryer very much appreciated. Living areas very comfortable, plenty of seating. The parking was such a gift. Although we could not fit both of our vehicles in back, there were spots on the street out front and it was very well lighted at night. Be aware that this area has new construction going on, noise not very disruptive. Close to downtown, river front areas, however, not walking distance. We chose to drive and then utilize public parking garage which had very reasonable rates. Overall, great unit for family stay in a safe area with parking. Would recommend!

Great location next to coffee upscale dining and river views

The check in/out process was seamless - thank you! Also, parking was convenient (out front for easy unloading/loading) or by garage. If you have younger kids, the plantation shutters are key and eliminated us putting up blackout shades. Also, the bath upstairs is perfect for bedtime routine. If baby gates are needed, the property’s concierge service recommended a local rental company, but we didn’t end of using with our 3 year old. For adults, the easy flip fire switch was fun as well as the outdoor seating with a gas fire pit. Since we stayed over Thanksgiving, I thankfully brought additional appliances which were not stocked - handheld blender, potato masher, and a cheese grater. Also, while the smell of dogs wasn’t overwhelming, it was definitely present and muddy paw marks were on upper patio door (my mistake for not reading property is dog friendly). Lastly, this property is in a great location that’s quiet with awesome walking paths leading to downtown Savannah. We enjoyed stretching our legs between family time and grabbing rooftop cocktails as well as coffee around the corner. Thank you!
