The pool and fitness center are nice amenities. The lobby was nice and welcoming and clean. The room was the perfect size and layout. The only issue I felt was that the bathroom door opened up pretty close to the toilet making it difficult to come out from the shower.

room we were given was an old smoking room and smelled bad. requested room change. Room change wasn't a problem. new room was better,, but still had a musty smell to it.

Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We needed a moderately priced place to stay the night before an early event and this was perfect. Would definite stay there again.

Coffee was terrible . That is the only complaint . All in all a good stay

Worsts hotel I ever stayed at couldn’t drink the water it was contaminated then the stag was very rude will never stay here again

overall a good experience. great food nearby. we love antiquing, didwell.

Arrived an hr early before checkin the front desk staff was rude.....saying the room is not ready, my wife asked if we could sit by the pool and wait ..... it was 90 degrees on the 4 of July not far from the beaches...with miles of traffic to get to the beach. The young woman at the desk said that we could not sit by the pool “why don’t you go to the beach” ....knowing full well that by the time we had gotten to the beach in all the traffic and the heat .... mind you we are in our late 50s.... and had no intentions of going to the beach.... the room would be ready..so we went for a ride for the hour....arrived back at checkin time and was told we could sit by the pool but the room wasn’t ready....very hot and sweaty and with less gas in my car, my wife had gone in to do the checkin and came back out and told me what had happened...I chose to go in and ask exactly what happened within 2 min the room was ready..... lack of hospitality professionalism and any compassion was evident by the attitude of the young woman at the desk gets them a poor report from me....

This hotel provided a great overnight stay when we were college shopping at URI. The stay was welcoming, hotel atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, and the accommodations were simple and clean. I would recommend this hotel to a friend who was college shopping.

The room was nice. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent.

Nice and clean Quality bedding, great staff close to beaches!? Awesome

Friendly staff, clean rooms, ice-machine and vending machines on the floor, access to computer and printer, and a large parking lot, all contributed to a worry-free stay.

We were very pleased with the quick check-in and the accommodations. The room was a nice size and appeared to be clean. After returning to the room after breakfast, we noticed a smell of marijuana in the hallway leading to our room. When we entered the room, the smell was even worse. My kids, ages 6 and 8, complained about the smell and kept asking what it was. We told them to try and ignore it and that it was a skunk. We obviously knew what it really was. We assumed it would go away. But when we went back to the room after dinner, the smell was still there and even stronger. My brother-in-law was staying on the second floor and after coming to our room went downstairs to the front desk and complained. The hotel staff claimed that received numerous complaints but couldn't pinpoint which room. Early that morning at around 5am, I was woken up by the noise coming from the room which was adjacent to ours. The music and TV were blasting and the smell was horrific. When we went down to check out, I complained about the smell and the noise and they said unfortunately there was nothing they could do. The manager wasn't there and if I wanted I could call later to speak to him. They said that housekeeping was trying to determine which room it was but I told them I knew it was the adjoining room to ours because the smell was even stronger inside our room than out in the hallway. I think it is CRAZY that the Holiday Inn would allow this and not do anything about it.

Very convenient location for URI events. Has own restaurant. We miss in-room refrigerator when they renovated it but staff kindly offered use of their refrigerator. Much appreciated! Staff very accommodating, very helpful.

Very pleased for an unexpected trip. Thank you for making us feel comfortable.

Nice, decent hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Only issue was that the was no hair conditioner in room (minor issue).

Close to the college, which was the reason for our visit for an invent there. Restaurant attached is great because there is not that many place to eat without driving about 10 or 15 minutes. Staff friendly clean room. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is very basic and unexceptional yet very expensive for what you get. Our room cost over $300 per night, it was very small, the bathroom offered 3 towels for 2 people, and the coffee maker literally had two teabags. The bed mattress was either old or else too soft.

Ac was roaring all night called room service after to attempts with no answer called front desk reccomend I try again and would let them know after third attempt got answer gave order then was told we are busy can I come down and pick up I said no thanks feel that they should not advertise room service if cannot fulfill I paid 338 dollars for a 89 dollar room not happy feel ripped of

I just had a one-nighter with a day long meeting on campus at URI. I checked in late to a very friendly desk staff person. My room was clean, modern and comfortable. I slept well. Had a continental breakfast and checked out early. Kind of a typical trip for me, but the comfort of my room allowed for a great night's sleep. What more can I ask!

We're sorry you visited us during the multi-town water ban. Our staff worked very hard to make sure all of our guests had plenty of bottled water for drinking and brushing their teeth. We love our guests and hope you come back now that the water ban has been lifted.
