I stayed at the Travelodge so my 4 grandsons could go swimming. They live in Martensville, so location is great. They had a wonderful time.
The weather in Saskatchewan had been really cold. Ended up having impact on truck by not letting it start. Ended up having to cancel first reservation to have vehicle repaired. Full credit on cancellation and no penalty was given even though cancelation was within 24 hour window. Once vehicle was repaired I made another reservation with Travelodge for December 29. We ended up getting theme room requested and kids were very excited about trip. The next day when checking out the trip went south. As weather was still cold my vehicle was not able to handle it and would not start. Front desk staff was extremely helpful. One gentlemen even offered up his personal vehicle to boost my truck. The front desk staff also informed me that my kids were able to remain in the room until about 4pm when a solution was found on my vehicle. This was wonderful. Unfortunately my vehicle is still parked at Travelodge currently and is not posing a problem as per hotel staff. This is very accommodating and much appreciated.
The staff was very accommodating and the service was fast. They did the best to make our stay enjoyable.
We had a great time! The only thing is it is not at all sound proof! You can here what your nabers are saying.
When we arrived we were accommodated with an early check in. We had a room near the water slide however our 20 month old grandson was with us and we knew he would love the splash pad so the clerk gladly moved our room and the splash pad was within a few steps of our new room. We also booked the all- inclusive package for meals and beverages which was great. Since it was sooo cold out we did not have to leave with the little guy to travel to restaurants. It was a great break for all of us. The little one had a great time. Staff were wonderful. Would definitely return.
Room was clean and updated. Lots of room for our large family. The bathroom is in need of an update. We shared a balcony with the neighbours and they chose to let their children sleep out on the balcony so we were unable to use it as the children were still sleeping at 10 AM. Pool area is in need of an update, as I slid into the hot tub on the water slide side my bathing suit ripped.
We arrived Christmas Eve and our televison didn't set up and we couldn't get any food delivered as we arrived 12:30 am. The receptionist set up the television and advised us that there was sandwiches and food up front. We bought some dinners to heat up and enjoyed our arrival watchin Team Canada reviews before going to bed satisfied and full.
We had poolside rooms for all our family and was the perfect setup for our grandchildren aged 2 to 18! Had so much fun in water slides and pools and adults could sit outside our rooms in pool area to watch. Had a catered supper and it was excellent! Our server was the best! Great place for a party! Thankyou Travel lodge Saskatoon!
We were very pleased with our stay at the Travelodge. Especially the Water Slide. It was a bit odd that we had to go down a hallway from the Hot tubs to get to the water slide BUT not a problem. Clearly built in a different section. We were pleased with the service !!!
Whenever we are in Saskatoon, The Travellodge is our go to place. We have stayed in the jacuzzi suite a few times and one of the Executive Suites just recently. We were very comfortable, the room was clean and so was the bathroom. The only thing that really need help was the carpeting...very outdated and many marks/burns. The walls could use some new paint soon, but all in all we were quite satisfied. The $1 breakfast for 2 was awesome...nice touch... only available for nights Sunday- Thursday.... maybe extend that to week ends...that'd be cool. ;)
