Whatever you do, make sure that you do not get your room poolside. Your ground floor room will literally face the hotel pool room, with patio chairs right up against your ground floor tempered glass window. You have no outdoor window. There is no way to even open your curtains without being a spectacle to those in the pool. Also, music is played until 10 PM. Only "positive" is they provide a jumbo white noise maker in the room to try to dampen the noise. The front desk, although polite, had no solutions or no discount for this room. Holiday Inn head office offered points only their rewards card in lieu of this problematic room and zero discount.
Are not up front with their billing system, costs, etc. Will not stay here again only because not telling customers how they operate is very misleading. Extra charges added on even though not shown - invoice provided at check-out indicated correct amount, charge to credit card was $150.00 higher (for incidentals/room damage) which was refunded automatically as it was not used; however, no indication this was their process and only found out when I checked my credit card charges. Apparently the extra charge goes in and out automatically; however, when credit card charges were first reviewed, the charge was shown but the reversing credit was not. In all my stays at various properties (including Holiday Inn) this was a first. Not going to happen again at this property!!!!
The hotel was clean. Rooms weee spacious. Beds were comfortable. The hot breakfast was a wonderful amenity. The pool area was great. It would've been nice if the rear entrance had a working key card scanner as the parking lot got quite full each evening and if you were parked close to the back door, you still had to trek to the front entrance.
We just stayed overnight as we had an event to attend in Saskatoon. The main floor room was comfortable and clean. We didn't use the pool or fitness area but it looked nice. The wifi was not that great but there were a lot of teenagers in the building from a sports team so they were likely all on it. The complimentary breakfast was just fine and I would recommend this place as a good value for a stay in Saskatoon.
We always stay here when we visit the city. We always get excellent service, and the prices are very competitive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and beautiful. Our first choice for hotels in Saskatoon.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good. The staff was quick to refill and clean up as needed for breakfast. Pool was good. Would come back again next time.
Stayed here for two nights (24&25). Checked in late for a Rush game. Front Desk Staff were helpful and very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and hotel was clean. Cleaning staff were also great. Would recommend garbage cans by elevators. Close to downtown and shopping centre. Will stay here again
Stayed here while in town on business. Clean, new-ish hotel from a reliable chain. Hotel served a nice breakfast in the AM. Easy to get cabs to and from the airport. Would gladly stay here next time I find myself in Saskatoon.
We had an excellent stay here on Tuesday March 14th. We booked last minute (unknown to us there was a SARM convention in town and we were very lucky to even get a room). The front desk staff, especially Tiffany, we're exceptional. The room was very reasonable and very comfortable. The only issue we had was that the hot tub was cool. I mentioned it to the front desk to see if it was a fixable issue. About an hour later when we were back in our room we got a call from the front desk and because they couldn't fix it they reduced our bill by 20$. That was unexpected and unnecessary, but it impressed me. Also my son was looking to buy some milk and none was available for purchase so the staff got him some from the kitchen at no charge. And they had fresh cookies to snack on in the lobby when we checked in. The continental breakfast is small (my husband was wanting waffles, but no waffle machine), but what they had was excellent. The room was spotless. The staff very friendly and accomodating. I will definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a good value for what you pay. It has a decent pool with hot tub and an average work out room. If you are looking for a place to get a good nights sleep then this is the place to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful. The only caution I offer is that you need to get to the breakfast room early if there are any sports teams staying in the hotel as the room is small and fills up quickly!
