Casa Miramares is a spacious 4BR home perfectly located beachfront, at the peaceful northern end of the beach in Playas del Coco. Constructed in a way that keeps it as open and breezy as possible, there are plenty of open-air spaces and areas for relaxing with a view of the ocean, and the sounds of the waves.
This simple and serene 4 bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home is everything you could possibly want in a vacation home, surrounded Costa Rica nature, beachfront, and with a large yard perfect for kids to play in!
The Space:
Casa Miramares boasts a wide veranda and open style kitchen with a view of the ocean, complete with a dishwasher and a stovetop for cooking. There is a spacious pantry for storage, and ample countertop space for anyone who enjoys cooking. If you prefer to grill, we have one available for use!
There are both indoor and outdoor areas to sit while eating. A large wooden table on the terrace is the perfect size for meals together while enjoying the view!
The four air-conditioned bedrooms each have their own private bathroom with a shower. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds, and the other two bedrooms have two sets of bunk beds in each (each bunk bed room can sleep 4 people)
Things to note:
*Air conditioning is only available in the bedrooms of the house. The common areas such as the kitchen and dining area are equipped with fans, and built in a way that the breeze constantly flows through
*The house has a gated entrance from the street, and is open from the beach side, Playas del Coco is a public beach (as all beaches are in Costa Rica)
*As this is Costa Rica, and the house is open air in some parts, you may encounter some friendly insects, geckos, or other local fauna during your stay
*Take note of the setup when house is locked up at night:
Casa Miramares was built in a way that the two bunk bed rooms/kitchen/living room area are not accessible via the queen rooms when locked
Essentially, each queen bedroom is accessible from the terrace outside, and has an individual lock on each door, but then the kitchen/living/2 bunk bedrooms are grouped together in the main part of the house, and are accessible via the entrance to the kitchen. In case you have babies or toddlers and are planning to have them sleep in the bunk bed rooms, this is something to note, as you will have to unlock the kitchen at night to enter the bunk bed rooms if you are sleeping in one of the queen bedrooms (please ask for any clarification on the setup, if needed)
