Great place to stay! Only issue, as with so many other motels, is lack of electrical outlets! With the number of people using CPAP/BI-PAP machines today, hotels/motels should considering putting in extra outlets! Will definitely stay here again when we return to the area to visit our grandson, who loved the pool!!!
we stayed at Landmark Motor Inn over a weekend in September 2020 i arrived only to find out that despite my having reservation for 2 rooms the establishment has only one room in my name. i’m thinking no problem they are not to busy i’ll show my room confirmations and they’ll correct it! sure they did but receptionist charges me more than what my reservation calls for. now i have to fight to get the additional money refunded. next morning breakfast time i find out that there is NO breakfast - how do you advertise breakfast and then swindle customer out of it. if i knew in advance i would’ve prepare for it. staff at the reception needs to pay attention and they need additional training. hotel and grounds are clean and all other personnel were SUPER nice and friendly. despite rooms reeking of mold (they do their best to cover it up with chemicals but to no avail). i would NOT recommend this establishment to friends and family despite relatively high rating unless no other choice was available and even then i recommend calling AHEAD!
This was a very clean, no frills place to stay. They had a smallish indoor pool, a gazebo, grills and picnic tables outside as well as a wooden play set. The staff was friendly. There is a restaurant across the street and a gas station next door. It was convenient and only about 20 minutes from the town of Lake George.
Bathroom floor was sticky upon arrival. Used a towel to clean it and it was very dirty.
Beds were not made properly. Fitted sheets were not used on the bottom. The flat sheets that were used did not stay tucked in and constantly came loose. Made for uncomfortable sleeping. They seemed to be too small for the bed.
Clean, old school motor inn in a beautiful setting. There was some work going on at the portico entrance so it was a bit tricky finding a way to drive up to the office. Room was well appointed and very clean. There was a game room, lounge area beside the office. They did offer coffee and tea all day in that area; however they were not checked while I was there and the hot water was just tepid. While there was a new clerk at check in, a seasoned clerk was watching what she did and both were very nice. We spoke about the area, restaurants, and how to drive over to the pool/hot tub room. I specifically mentioned the hot tub and my plan to use it after dinner after a long drive that day. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the hot tub later, it was marked "Closed for Maintenance" and an hour later, no one checked in. There were no towels but there were bins for wet towels. A phone on the wall was marked "For Emergency Use Only" and the room was far away from the office so there was no way to call anyone. Ultimately I went back to my room after stopping at the office. When I mentioned my dismay, the seasoned clerk said the hot tub had been closed since the morning and she told every guest at check in this was the case. She didn't seem to recall we had a long conversation just a couple hours earlier. Morning check in went well with a different clerk who was very nice and helpful with local information and recommended driving routes.

This was by far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed. It was sooo clean, just off the highway with a fabulous restaurant across the street. The hotel had lots to offer for a small hotel but so tastefully done and very comfortable and cozy. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Felt so safe. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends whenever in the area. Excellent choice.
We enjoyed our four day stay, everyone is friendly, the rooms are great, the property is well taken care of. They take pride in what they do.

I am very sorry you experienced a poor nights sleep. Our housekeeping staff is usually pretty meticulous when it comes to the rooms that they are assigned. In cases such as this, we like to have our guests inform the front desk so it can be addressed. Again, I am very sorry.

Maintenance chose to close the hot tub for repair. This does not happen often but to ensure the best experience for our guests, it has to be done from time to time. I also apologize if there was a lack of communication on this subject amongst the clerks and yourself. Thank you for your review.
