Hotel is close to airport and Ringling. About 10 min from downtown. It's pet friendly, very clean and well kept. At night they have appetizers and drinks in the lobby. The breakfast was good and the lady who worked it was very nice. Around the corner is a great place to have lunch Sunnyday cafe. Would recommend this hotel.
We were originally booked into the Marriott Courtyard, but found out the water was gong to be off for one day of the stay. We moved to the Residence Inn. The pace was nice and the breakfast and the evening drink and snacks was good. The people were nice and everything was done well. A good place to stay.
We made a last minute reservation here for my husbands birthday - something close to work and home. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as the complimentary food and alcohol! The Residence Inn Mixer was a big hit with us, and the staff was just amazing. They gave us great recommendations for dinner (we had just moved to the area) and moved us to a corner room so that we had an extra quiet stay. We did not use the pool or tennis courts, but others seemed to be enjoying them just fine. We DID make use of the small shop in the lobby. After a late night (err, morning) out, we purchased a couple of frozen dinners and passed out in our rooms. The kitchen area may be a little dated, but the rooms were spotless! Would not hesitate to return :)
The overall appearance of the hotel was great. The exterior and interior were well maintained. The rooms, beds, linens, and towels were all in great shape. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and the food was good. We would have no issues with staying there in the future.
It was a great property. Clean, great breakfast, and the staff was awesome. My room was comfortable and very well appointed with a kitchen area with a refer and stove and dishwasher very nice thank you
It is a great place to stay in Sarasota if you are not looking for anything luxurious. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and very friendly. I would definitely go back if I have the chance anytime soon. The rooms were very comfy, clean and big. The pool area is good, loved the tennis court.
I was skeptical because we stayed at this property 2 years ago and I found the front desk staff very unprofessional and the hotel was in need of better upkeep. After this stay we would come back anytime and highly recommend others to do so as well. Keep up the great work. Checkin-staff pleasant and friendly; seemless Front Lobby/common areas- clean and neat Rooms-spotless and cozy. Beds comfortable. Housekeeping staff prompt if you need something. The 1 bedroom is great for longer stays Breakfast-plenty to choose from; scrambled eggs/egg whites, sausage, cheese, fresh fruit, cereals, fresh waffles, bread, bagels, English muffins. Coffee is very good. Several nights of dinner with beer, wine, pop but we did not attend. Grounds-well maintained, pool clean and lovely fire pit and outdoor seating area. The general manager, Michelle and Paul at the front desk are very professional and friendly. They couldn't be any nicer. You can tell the needs of the guests are paramount. Thank you. You have managed to give people a home-away-from-home.
Nice Location, close to restaurants, shopping, and venues. Easy access to I75. Easy walk to many stores and restaurants across the street. Total Wine location next door a plus to have. Nice restaurants to enjoy within a walking distance..
The location was great for our visit to Sarasota, and the room was large, comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly, and the free breakfast had a good selection which was quite good overall. The kitchenette came in handy during our visit. As stated, the location was great for our visit and we had a pleasurable stay.
My family and I came down for a week to visit my grandparents and I was told by my grandmother that we should stay at Residence Inn. We are so glad that we listened to her. My kids enjoyed the basketball court while my husband I relaxed by the fire pit and the pool. The evening social is a plus. The room was very clean and comfortable beds. We are looking forward to staying with Residence Inn next year.
