I had a quick stay at this location and was very pleased. The front end personnel are very helpful and nice. The rooms are big and comfortable with all the amenities your would expect. The walls are a bit thin and as I was here the same time as a number of youth soccer teams it was easy to hear noise, but it settled down at an appropriate time without any action needed on my part. From an office standpoint the internet is good and the desk area comfortable. Big bath area and comfortable bed. Breakfast was fine and kept full - especially impressive with all the soccer kids here! Only drawback that could use attention is the room darkening shade don't close properly and the light came through earlier than I would have liked. Some that those could use an update so they properly close. Good stay. Not too much local food but a few places deliver. Extremely close to the airport which is nice.
Everything was just great!! The only thing that wasn't good is the ice maker made few ice cubes in an extremely long time!!!But it was Thanksgiving, so no worries. Free breakfast is always a good thing and I was given a late checkout that I truly appreciated from Paul. Thanks again! We've been here before & would visit again....Good times!
I could live her. It was like walking into a little apartment that felt like home. It had everything and made me wish I was staying more than 1 night. The room was very clean and comfortable. The common areas and the elevator could use some febreeze and refreshing. Front desk personnel was very accommodating and friendly. Good coffee in the morning.
My family stayed at the hotel for 5 days because of hurricane Irma. I can express my sincere gratitude to all the staff during this very stressful time. They were always there to answer and help in anyway. We lost power for our last three days we stayed and it still has not returned. It never hampered the staff's attitude. When I left I hugged each and every staff member. I will write a letter to the President of Marriott and mention each name of each staff member with nothing but high appraise. You can only imagine what the hotel is like during favorable weather. Congratulations team for a job well done. Bravo!
There for one night while fleeing Hurricane Irma. Very nice facility with friendly staff. Had our dogs with us. Were accommodated without difficulty. There for food truck night which was a nice treat. Room was clean and well appointed. Definitely would stay again.
Hotel is close to airport and Ringling. About 10 min from downtown. It's pet friendly, very clean and well kept. At night they have appetizers and drinks in the lobby. The breakfast was good and the lady who worked it was very nice. Around the corner is a great place to have lunch Sunnyday cafe. Would recommend this hotel.
We were originally booked into the Marriott Courtyard, but found out the water was gong to be off for one day of the stay. We moved to the Residence Inn. The pace was nice and the breakfast and the evening drink and snacks was good. The people were nice and everything was done well. A good place to stay.
We made a last minute reservation here for my husbands birthday - something close to work and home. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as the complimentary food and alcohol! The Residence Inn Mixer was a big hit with us, and the staff was just amazing. They gave us great recommendations for dinner (we had just moved to the area) and moved us to a corner room so that we had an extra quiet stay. We did not use the pool or tennis courts, but others seemed to be enjoying them just fine. We DID make use of the small shop in the lobby. After a late night (err, morning) out, we purchased a couple of frozen dinners and passed out in our rooms. The kitchen area may be a little dated, but the rooms were spotless! Would not hesitate to return :)
The overall appearance of the hotel was great. The exterior and interior were well maintained. The rooms, beds, linens, and towels were all in great shape. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast buffet was well maintained and the food was good. We would have no issues with staying there in the future.
It was a great property. Clean, great breakfast, and the staff was awesome. My room was comfortable and very well appointed with a kitchen area with a refer and stove and dishwasher very nice thank you
